This is a GREAT coffee shop! It’s become my go-to spot when I want to work and focus somewhere outside of my office. Love the lattes, especially the seasonally ones lately! They also make excellent tea drinks; my husband says they make a wonderful London Fog. Great options for food, wide selection. I love the desserts and pastries, and my two year old is obsessed with the egg bakes. The staff are ALL fantastic, always kind and attentive. Some of the best customer service I’ve experienced, for sure! So lucky to have this gem in our little city.

Update to original review. I’ve stopped in several times since my past review. The staff has been great and friendly everything I’ve stopped in and the pastries are delicious. I’m partial to the blueberry scones, but the Buckeye brownie was also very good. I also love the chai and the seasonal flavors that are offered (last I went in it was apple pie – yum!). Overall, pleasant experience and nice local shop!

Staff was pleasant. Initially stopped in to try the pumpkin cream chai but also ordered the apple cider redbull and the turkey blt panini with a salad. The pumpkin chai was very good. My friend enjoyed the redbull and the sandwich was good, but there was maybe 4 bites of filling on the actual sandwich. For as expensive as the food can be, I would’ve expected a better amount of filling. They also forgot the ranch for the salad. The staff preparing food seemed a bit discombobulated, but they all looked to be fairly young and still learning. Overall, its not a bad stop to support local coffee, but if the sandwiches are consistently skimpy then I would probably steer away from the lunch menu.

Update on my previous update!!!
I was treated with a nice surprise from the owner Chris! He brought me sandwiches and coffee, along with his apologies, to my workplace at Pure Joy Madison! I was not expecting that! I truly commend him for his service and hard work to maintain good for his customers. Thank you Chris! I wish wonderful things for you and his small business!

Update on my previous review.
I decided to give them a few more chances and unfortunately I shouldn’t have. Today I ordered again and they sent me someone else’s order. I again called and complained. They remade my sandwiches and the girl even read the order to me. Still got it wrong. I called again and I told her there was no bacon, and she had the nerve to lie and say that bacon was not in the order. Yes it was. I even said I’m looking at the receipt and you read it to me! Not to mention but the eggs are covered in actual shards of eggs shells!!!!!! Never again. This place has lost a customer.

I have ordered 4 times from here. And out of those 4 times, only once have they gotten my order right. And that was cuz I went in personally to get coffee and breakfast…. They don’t pay attention to the actual orders that are ordered online. Today, I ordered a lg iced black eye coffee. I got it hot…….

This local coffee shop is so warm and cozy. Service was outstanding, indoor and outdoor options. Soups, salads, sandwiches, bakery and more to choose from. I saw this awesome L.L. Bean boot truck outside and thought it was cool.

LOVE the bacon and egg breakfast sandwich! With all the veggies and Dijonase sauce! The egg is fluffy and the roll is so soft and delicious!

I have been coming here for years and love the new life and variety the new owners have brought to the location! They are always willing to listen to suggestions too which is awesome!

One of my absolute favorite places. To the strongest, best coffee and flavors- to the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had. It’s such a treat to get to come and visit when I have time to sit down or even just come inside. Everything is fresh, delicious and hot. The sitting room is cute and comfortable. The staff is super friendly and fast. 1000/10 experience all of the time.

My daughter and I have started going to all of the coffee shops in Northeast Ohio this year and we try a new one every week. Scribblers has been our absolute favorite choice so far. They have tons of food and drinks to choose from. Coffee for me, boba tea for her, plus other great choices in hot or cold varieties. Their food menu has expanded over the years and they make hot food fresh, as well as some of the baked goods you expect from a coffee shop. My favorite choice is their acai bowls. I’m gluten free and it’s very easy to order it safe for me.
The atmosphere is friendly and warm and very welcoming. All the workers are kind and helpful. We will definitely be going back!

What a nice surprise! We came to the Geneva area to visit some wineries and spend the night at the Geneva-on-the-Lake Lodge. We decided to skip breakfast at the lodge, so glad because we found this outstanding breakfast spot in Geneva! The service was great, very pleasant staff, and the food was delicious! We had breakfast sandwiches, best ever! We also split a tasty orange-cranberry scone. It’s a casual setting, food is ordered at the counter, plenty of seating available. If in the area you have to try Scribbler’s, even if not close by, it would be worth the drive. There’s an interesting story about the name of the restaurant too.

I love this charming and friendly coffee shop. I started coming here about the time that Chris acquired it. The space is small but cozy and the staff here is cheerful and welcoming. You can order anything from coffee to teas to protein shakes or specialty energy drinks. They make a variety of food choices such as a host of pastries, açaí bowls, breakfast or lunch sandwiches. Practically everything is homemade; it’s all delicious! I’ve chosen to come here for birthdays, Valentine’s Day and several friend get togethers. You really can pull up a chair and feel right at home. I’ve seen people a group of ladies playing cards, a teenage boy giving a girl flowers, watched a dad and son play checkers. I’ve watched as many people came, grabbed a drink and/or some food and left. But there are also a lot of people who come, sit, and enjoy being together. This is a place to gather, eat and connect. I didn’t see many people on their phones, instead they were enjoying the atmosphere and the treats they had purchased. I came for a good cup of coffee but I return for that and so much more. ❤️ I also have this coffee every week at church and buy coffee to brew at home! My favorite is the Ethiopian Yirgaucheffe Blend
