I stopped here for lunch and I’m glad I did! The portions are huge and the restaurant was clean and had a fun atmosphere. I’d recommend getting the combo platter and sharing it and then maybe another ala cart side. The rice is definitely enough for two people and the meats were grilled to perfection. The salad was fresh and the dressing was amazing. I’ll be back soon the next time I’m in town!

The food here is absolutely incredible. The rice and potatoes together really create a base that I enjoy. I have sampled all the meats at this restaurant and each one is juicy and delicious. I highly recommend it to anyone. The atmosphere could be improved, but if you’re there for the food…this is the place.

Not the same food that it used to be. I’m not sure what changed but they are very pricey and the amazing flavor that I remember doesn’t seem present any longer. Apparently they’re under new management. I haven’t eating here in a few years but when I lived near by I ate here frequently. Too bad the food isn’t as good as it once was.

I’ve been coming to Chicken Express for 20 years and that alone should tell you everything. Sam, the original owner, built something special here. When he passed away, his friend Amir stepped in and has done an incredible job honoring Sam’s legacy, keeping the same quality and menu that made this place a neighborhood staple. The food is consistently excellent, the portions are generous, and it still feels like the same place Sam built. I hope to be eating here for another 20 years. If you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out.

I’ve been here a few times already. Every single visit has been a great experience. The food is delicious, and the employees are very kind. I brought my friend from Alaska here so he could try the “best food in Utah” and he was not disappointed. The gyro wraps are delicious but I especially love the open faced euro. My wife loves getting the combination plate with half rice and half potatoes.
