This was a great find on a trip to Holden Beach. It’s a small place but has a great atmosphere. There was live music on Friday night. The staff is very friendly and the food is amazing. We would go back anytime we are down here.

Good service, good American bar/pub style food, laid back atmosphere. We sat in the bar area on 12/31/2020 next to an open window which was great during the COVID-19 pandemic. I was severely disappointed that the bar tender was NOT wearing a mask the entire time we were there. I did see other workers (unsure of their roles) wearing masks. My rating is mostly based on their enforcement of current health and safety measures during the pandemic.

We sat on the deck. There’s a great breeze tonight. Not packed, but definitely not a ghost town. The server is super sweet and accommodating. We lucked out and it’s 8$ for a 1/2 lb crab leg night! Noice.
The side salad is a little plate of mixed baby greens, red onion, bacon and 3 cherry tomatoes. The ranch dressing is delicious. Definitely home made.
The fried mushrooms were good. My husband said that his peel and eat shrimp were really good as well.
Overall, we have had a great experience and will definitely be back. Maybe even tomorrow!

It wasn’t all that good. The food was so so. Won’t go back but if your a drinker and like sitting around drinking then maybe the food taste better. But not worth a return visit for our group.

Decent food, service was lack luster. (Not just my opinion, others thought the same)There weren’t alot of customers yet. I’m afraid to think of how the service would be when it did get busy. The plus side are the outside seating areas, those are nice. Would give it a go again to see if it was just an off day.

Our meal was phenomenal! My group of four was full of questions and Jessica answered each one with a smile that shone from behind her mask. Chef Keith even came out to consult with us and was happy to accommodate our special requests. The crab legs and shrimp were to die for. The steaks and burgers were cooked to perfection. The green beans were seasoned like nothing I’ve ever had before. We also found the prices to be more than fair. We sat on the deck and the view was lovely. Our dining experience was delightful and we will most definitely be back again!

I tried this restaurant a year or so ago and was not impressed. Mediocre food with very high prices. Recently, though, I kept seeing pictures of delicious food and thought I might give it a second chance. I was disappointed once again. I don’t mind paying a high bill – but the food and service must be excellent. Hostesses and waitresses were fairly friendly and did their job. My fried fish and fries were good – but not excellent. I left feeling like I could have gone to Captain D’s and eaten the same meal for much less. I don’t believe I will be giving this restaurant a third chance.
