We had a generally good experience at Rise Pizzeria. The food was tasty and the ingredients seemed fresh. The atmosphere was nice, but it was a bit difficult to place our order because we waited a long time for the server to come to our table. That slowed things down and affected the experience a little. Overall though, it was enjoyable, just not perfect.

Our first time here, the food was delicious! The vibe was on point for a lunch date and would be even better for a dinner vibe since they have a bar and upstairs eating area. Really good Margarita pizza–crust was tender but not doughy. Ample tomato sauce, too.

A fantastic recommendation made by the front desk staff at our hotel, the food here was absolutely delicious! The service was terrific as well, even sitting up on the loft/balcony area, our server was very attentive and our food came out pretty quick!
We started off with drinks and got to try the Rise Mimosa, Margarita, The Mule Train, and Whiskey Sour. The drinks were great and we followed that up with the Grassfed Meatballs and Burrata + Tomatoes w/Pesto, and we absolutely loved these starters!! Lastly, for our entrees we ordered the Carne and Quattro Formaggi which was undoubtedly the highlight out of everything we ordered!
We highly recommend anyone who is passing through Burlingame or flying in/out of SFO to make the short drive down to try out Rise Pizzeria!

We booked this place for a corporate paint and wine event and we had so much fun. It’s a nice hidden gem in the heart of Burlingame and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. We ordered a bunch of pizzas and salads but my favorite was BURRATA PIZZA It was nothing like your regular Margherita and yet so delicious and unique. We ordered drinks which were incredible as well, especially the cocktails. Highly recommend this place for a corporate event and otherwise too. Great for a lunch or a dinner date too.

Delicious, definitely come here, especially to sit by their outdoor fire on a cold day! The pizza was a perfect sharing portion, and the beer was so quenching after a long day in the city. Great atmosphere, fair prices, friendly staff.

We thoroughly enjoyed enjoyed Rise Pizzeria. We usually don’t order pineapple on our pizza but it was delicious. The pizza of order was ham with roasted pineapple and red pepper. The dough is a blend of five flours. We also enjoyed the chopped salad. The customer service experience was awesome too!

Arrived here around 5pm on Tuesday being the first ones to sit by the cozy fire in their “outside” area (covered so not super cold and with heat!). We loved being the only ones there, although more people came following. The appetizer of Burrata with melon and prosciutto was delicious! Wish the bread was a bit crunchier but all good. The double pepperoni pizza was quite good as well. The crust was seasoned well and def cooked in firewood. You can also customize your pizza, which is nice.

I recently visited Rise Pizzeria and had a good experience overall. The pizza was quite delicious, and the burrata was enjoyable, although I think it could be elevated with some fresh bread. The service was decent, and the staff were generally attentive. The location is convenient and adds to the appeal of the place. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a casual meal.

We ordered extra toppings (truffle oil and prosciutto) on the mushroom pizza and that turned out too much . It’s a thin crust pizza so better don’t add too many toppings. The oven fired brussel sprouts were overcooked. Very mushy. Burrrta is good. Service and outdoor seating are great!
