Came in town for work and a friend recommended this place. He was spot on. The place has good character, the best selection of beer, excellent blue cheese bacon burger and the best staff. Melissa was a great bartender and gave excellent recommendations on food and beer. Also great conversation. Highly recommend stopping by the Ale House when in town!

Ordered take out shortly after they opened at 11. The food was terrible!! A regular salad with crispy chicken piece on it was cooked so hard it was like cardboard. No croutons on it as advertised in menu. Wings again cooked that hard you couldn’t bite into them and dry as cardboard also. Teriyaki sauce and Sweet Chili sauce? Is that what I ordered because all I could taste was dry crunch. The blue cheese dressing was like they watered the bottle down to use every drop. Boom Boom Burger??? The bun was stale!!! This place used to top notch!! I will not be doing business here anymore.

Great staff!! A friend had a exchanging of rings there. Didn’t take pictures of the food but the spinach & artichoke dip & buffalo chicken dip were delicious. They have homemade chips too! The chicken tenders were really good as well!

I didn’t order any food this time but 5 stars for the service and ambiance. I’m not used to bars having more than one sour option on tap as well as crowlers to take your favorite brew home.

We have never had a bad thing here, but if you’re looking for Monday dinner when you dont feel like cooking, you MUST try the Mega Monday deal!!! LG pie, 10 wings, cheesy breadsticks AND a soda or less than $30!!!!! It fed 4 of us with leftovers!!!! Highly recommend!

Best deal is $1 tacos on Taco Tuesday, that’s for the beef taco. Other options cost a little more, like chicken, grilled steak or fried haddock. Your choice of soft or hard shell. Tacos were yummy. They also have a fantastic beer selection. Restaurant was very clean. The service was friendly and efficient. I would definitely eat here again.
