An all ages small batch brewpub with a relaxed ambiance, fun music, with beverage and food for all. Hand crafted beer pairs nicely with the hand crafted bourbon barrel furniture at Temperate Habits Brewing. We wanted something a little different and a lot fun. Cheers!

Love the ambiance. Cozy but vibrant, busy but not loud.
The food was good. Lots of burgers and sandwishes on the menu. Had the cheeseburger and fries..the patty was moist but not greasy. Decent portion for what you pay. The ceasar salad was also great. As it was a microbrewery, we tried the blonde lager and we definitely recommend it. Crips, light, refreshing. Perfect for a sunny afternoon. Will definitely come back again if we are in the area.

I went here for the first time a week ago. I have been missing out! There were so many great choices on the menu that I had a hard time deciding. I ended up having sliders and tots with the light beer. Absolutely amazing. We had 8 people and no one was disappointed in the least. The service and atmosphere were great. I will absolutely be going back and highly recommend to others!

We had been there for 30m or so after getting our drink order when the waitress came and told us our food wouldn’t be ready for at least 45-1hr. We said we understood and had to leave due to having tickets to a show that started 45m. Very odd. Also odd, they sat another couple next to us as we were leaving and didnt mention the whole food being extremely slow? I feel it would have been considerate for that to be told to a customer right off? They also charged us for our srinks even though we werent able to finish them since we had to leave and find a new, fast place to get food before our show. I used to love the place but I dont feel comfortable coming back.

The problem with the beer was the fact that there’s twenty taps to choose from but we made the right choice. The sweet potato fries were crisp and delicious. The burgers were literally dripping with saucy flavour. Good thing we had extra napkins.

This was my first time there and when ever I go someplace new they are ALWAYS rated based on their fish and chips.
The staff was friendly and prompt. I substituted the regular fries for the garlic fries. That was about the best decision of the entire day. They were delicious! Coleslaw wasn’t bad. The fish needed some work. I’m not sure if it was the breading or if the frying went awry. I’m going to guess the latter. The regular fries had an off color and the fish was a bit soggy and completely fell apart. I had to eat it with a fork so I’m guessing they had temp issues with the fryer today.

With all of that said, the garlic fries would lure me back for a second date.

So we went back today and despite the wife spilling her drink on me the food was great! We tried the hush puppies and they were delicious! I had the pulled pork sandwich. It had a kick to it but it too was really good. And yes, we got the above described fries again because… YUM!

This place was jammed on the Saturday night we visited, and it’s not difficult to see why. Food came a little slowly (not surprising given the crowds) but the friendly vibe from the staff was so constantly positive that we didn’t really care (and darn it, it meant we had to try more beers.) Food was typical brewpub fare – my medium-rare steak was a tad well-done, but the gnocchi and fried pickle appetizers were both first-rate. All in all a great experience.

Delicious beer and really unique burger choices, including poutine, mac and cheese, and pb&j styles. We really enjoyed the food and it was fun trying new interesting things. They have a nice outdoor area with heating and it’s great spot for people watching downtown.

I recently visited Temperate Brewing in Mount Vernon, Washington, and I must say, it was excellent. The highlight of my evening was the grilled cod fish tacos, which were absolutely amazing. The menu had a wide variety of options, and I’m so glad I chose the tacos. The taste, quality, and use of fresh ingredients were all top-notch. I can confidently give this restaurant a well-deserved 5-star rating. If you’re looking for a must-try dining experience, Temperate Brewing is the place to be!
