We enjoy getting breakfast as a family after church every Sunday. Lexie is always our preferred server and we’re willing to wait to be able to have a seat in her section if we have to. She is always nice and polite to all of her customers. The manager, Matt, is running this location very well. The food is always good and quick.

Went to this location on the way from Lake Charles to Houston on Tuesday, 12/2/25 around 12 noon. It wasn’t busy and all of the booths had dirty dishes on them. The few patrons that were there were at the high bar. My daughter and I stood at the front waiting for a table to be cleaned so we could sit. No one ever acknowledge us when we walked in, or when we stood waiting. We even got a few “looks”. An older lady walked in after us and was told good morning and welcome to WH. We waited 5 minutes and then left. I have heard stories about this area being a “sundown” town but I have never experienced such blatant racism. I wanted to make a scene before I left but did not want to embarrass myself or my daughter. We went to the Ruth St. location not too far down the highway and was welcomed with smiles by all the staff there! The young man that waited on us was extremely polite and friendly and I gave him a nice tip. Our food was good and we felt very much at ease there. If you are of color, my advice to you is to go to a different location. Very sad people are still this way. I would give zero stars if I could.

I eat their all the time and the staff is very friendly. Lexie is very helpful, always checking on us and a wonderful waitress. Very polite and friendly and always has a positive attitude. Matt is the manger and is very easy to talk to about anything.

Ordered delivery via DoorDash, and while I usually love Waffle House’s food and their service, tonight they did me wrong. I’ve never been to this particular location, and now, I will definitely steer clear of it. The food was overcooked, everything was piled on top of each other in one container, while the location I usually order from, uses 3 containers for the order I placed. Never been so disappointed with an order from Waffle House, my cats wouldn’t even eat it, and I don’t blame them.

Lexy and matt are simply amazing …. They are attentive and positive keep the whole place up beat which such professionalism and genuine care for their customers I love it here and won’t go to any other Waffle House doesn’t matter if I’m in a neighboring city I will travel just to be here . I want Lexy as my server always she made my 6 year old daughter feel seen and wanted and so special she has a real nitch for this type of work and so does matt. Thanks guys I will be back soon
