I had the Rainbow Roll and the 911 Roll — the 911 was really spicy but delicious. The gyozas were amazing, and the seaweed salad (both the regular and the spicy version) was excellent — the spicy one isn’t too spicy, just flavorful.
Overall, fresh food, great service, and generous portions. Highly recommend this place! I’m visiting from Florida, where we already have great sushi, so trust me when I say this spot is impressive. Hi
Guided by the Force, I arrived at Toba Sushi and Grill, where a feast of flavor awaited. Two standout choices captured my attention—one a golden, crispy appetizer, the other a bold fusion of sushi tradition and modern creativity.
First, the Kino-Dama, a deep-fried masterpiece. Crispy on the outside, rich and creamy within—mushrooms, cream cheese, and spicy crab salad combined in perfect harmony. The drizzle of sauces added depth, and the dish itself? A worthy indulgence.
Then, the main event—the Philadelphia Sushi Burrito. Smoked salmon, spicy crab salad, avocado, and cream cheese wrapped in sushi rice and seaweed, with tempura flakes adding just the right crunch. Each bite was a blend of richness and spice, enhanced by the Yum Yum sauce on the side. Creamy, tangy, and the perfect complement. However, one small recommendation for the Sushi Master—cut the salmon into smaller pieces, so it doesn’t all pull out in one bite. A minor tweak to an otherwise fantastic dish.
Service was swift, attentive, and as seamless as a Jedi’s lightsaber strike. Toba Sushi and Grill balances creativity and tradition with skill, making it a destination worth returning to.
Make sure to mix in a bit of wasabi with your soy and enjoy!
