One of the best fish and chips . Huge portions. Lobster roll, sensational. Squid perfect. Fich cakes are spot on. Get there right on opening time to get a seat inside otherwise you’ll have to wait for a vacancy.

We’ve visited the Lobster Shack several times now and it’s always so fresh and tasty. Recent order included the lobster and crab roll (mouth-watering and full of meaty filling), half grilled lobster with chips (garlic butter was divine) and fish tacos (big thumbs up!). And to top it off, there are plenty of benches around to enjoy your scran with a sea view. Perfect!

Nice stop for fish and chips, area to sit and eat isn’t too great but it’s fine for a quick stop to have your fish and chips. Fish is super fresh and perfect.

We had lobster and chips – delicious. The lobster was really fresh. Half a lobster (you get half a body/tail and 2 claws!) for £29.95 – not cheap but worth the experience. Will try others on the menu next time.

We ate there on Sunday and although busy, the service was super fast. It is on the pricey side but the food is excellent! We ate the lobster/crab roll with chips and the fish burger. I almost preferred the burger although the lobster in the roll was really good!

Great staff, service, food, seating, space but – the prices are wild. £22 for the lobster roll in my pics – tastes amazing but WOW £22 !!!!. The red cabbage coleslaw – I’ve really absolutely NO idea what that was – tasted of nothing, what a waste of money it was – hopefully the bin enjoyed it.

Superb seafood and plenty of seating around to enjoy it. I recommend the seafood chowder which was so fresh tasty and very generous in the amount of seafood in the chowder itself.
