Detroit style pizza has great crispy crust with flavorful sauce. I kept it the simple the first time and just got cheese flavors came through amazingly. Good amount of cheese and sauce. The second time we got the GodFather that was phenomenal! They have a really nice lite fluffy soft dough with a crispy bottom and I love the caramelized cheese crust! Service was awesome. There is limited seating inside so plan accordingly they also offer patio seating in the back during the summer time. 100% recommend!

I decided to dine in. There are only a few tables so I was lucky to get one. I imagine that it’s more of a carry out joint. The guy that waited on me was also handling front counter carry out duties. He was good though. Got me seated, took my order, and checked on me a couple of times. I ordered two of the 1/4 pizza Pepperoni’s. It was good. I don’t eat Detroit style often so not much to compare it to but the sauce had a zing. The crust was crisp in the edges but soft in the middle. I enjoyed it quite a bit and recommend checking it out.

Loved the patio idea in the back but it needed some work. Felt like someone sort of cleaned their backyard and opened a pizzeria. Needs some decoration or having the plants more groomed then just letting them grow wild. They were busy when we went so had a 15 wait for a table. Restroom unfortunately not clean. Our server was a little behind. Forgot to bring us glasses with ice for our drinks. Forgot to bring us utensils when we got our salad. He was just all over the place. The pizza was absolutely amazing though and the salad was fresh and delicious. Good for a quick bite.

Pizza was delicious and the service was amazing! Our waiter was top notch. We will definitely be back. Love that we could split pizzas in half …two flavor choices in one. That’s a big deal w a family with picky eaters. ❤️ my fav was the burrata marg. Others loved the veggie and also the bbq chicken.

This was safe for my gluten-intolerant friend! I loved the pizza and our server was so sweet and helpful. The patio was gorgeous and they were open a little later than the surrounding restaurants, which is why we ended up there, but we were so happy we did! A beautiful way to spend the night when there’s nice weather.

We had a great time at Union Squared. The Detroit style pizza is excellent as was the spinach artichoke dip. Very nice craft beer selection. The hidden patio in back is very welcoming and comfortable. The staff is friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be going back to Union Squared soon!

The BEST pace to eat outdoors in Evanston! Killer Detroit-style pizza and salads. My recs are the Chopped Salad and The Clincher pizza—cupped pepperoni, pickled jalapeños, & Mike’s hot honey. Solid beer & wine list along with a few cocktails.
Bocce out back while you wait for your table. Reservations on Resy are available for parties 6 & larger. There are a handful of tables inside too & a brisk carry out area.

I had this place on my list for awhile. I finally got a change to try it out yesterday and was thoroughly impressed. We had the Godfather. The square-shaped crust was thick and crispy on the outside, yet light and fluffy on the inside. The buttery flavor of the crust was simply mouthwatering. They are not stingy with the toppings. I wasn’t impressed with the warm chocolate chip blondie. I wish it was softer. Service was good. I would definitely go back.

Delicious pizza–my go-to favourite near Chicago. I have an air-fryer and the pizza warms up deliciously, so I never have to worry about ordering too much! I haven’t dined in and I got lost in the back garden trying to pick up my order once, but overall a really wonderful place.
