As a new comer to this town; I’ve been able to see what makes this place so much different than a lot of other locations; especially, when it comes to eateries! I’ve had the pleasure of dinning in at this location and not only was able to enjoy the atmosphere as well as the dishes brought forth but to learn a lesson in humility and compassion! I believe who may have been the owner from the start had been very engaging from the moment I had been able to be seated. He recommended a specific dish in Lue to what I had debating to try which the option he suggested in itself was definitely worth it as shown in the photo‼️ He even came to check on me to verify it had been to my liking which I did let him know compared to places I’ve attempted thus far exceeded the expectations in flavor and its presentation on what those within the industry choose not to provide. However, I made a terrible mistake of my own due to past experiences of attempting dishes that really wasn’t up to par like this location has been. Needless to say the same gentleman mind you took the time to not only listen to my concern and humbly allowed me to see my own wrong(s) which had definitely been no fault of him or the establishment itself but that of my own! That alone on how my concern which truly was not a concern had been put to rest. It was in that very moment I had to ask for forgiveness for my own mistake not only from him but GOD. I felt my own shame but walked away with overstanding that as a people we tend to feel that we cannot be mistaken for whatever the reasonings may be; that the phrase “ the customer is always right”. As I write this I can tell you this is not so and time just be given to be able to communicate and accept accountability when we as customers ARE wrong! For this I thank this gentleman whomever he may be for the experience, lesson(s) and a meal fit for kings/Queens. This is a location I believe all should try before any others just to set the tone of what service and a good home cooked meal can be‼️

With better service, our experience could have been a lot better. The food was good for Americanized Tex-Mex. Which is fitting for a Mexican restaurant named after an American holiday that Mexicans don’t celebrate. We waited 20 minutes for our waitress to even come ask us about drinks. The Margarita was decent. I liked how they offered complimentary bean dip with the chips and salsa. However the beans were bland, and had little to no flavor. They obviously were not stewed with Onion, Bell Pepper, Celery, Garlic, and Epazote. As would be fairly traditional. We got the deluxe burritos, that were packed full of meat! A generous portion of meat served inside, with everything else on top. Starting with canned enchilada sauce, then cheese, sour cream and guacamole. Everything is just cheap, and lazy here. Seems like it’s all stripped down to accommodate a bland American palette. Can’t imagine too many people in Eastern Oregon know anything about authentic Mexican Cuisine. So I guess it’s a non-issue for most of them.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in town! The staff is wonderful, the food is extremely tasty and the menu selection is perfect. There is a little bit of everything and you get a huge plate for the price. I am extremely picky about quality and eating real food… they deliver on quality big time! I will always recommend Cinco!

We drove down from Spokane for my mom’s birthday. Unfortunately we made it about a half an hour before they closed. So we asked if they would be willing to take in a late party, and they were super flexible and happy to take us in. The service was top notch. The food, OMG the food was absolutely amazing! My tacos were so juicy and the carne asada just pulled apart. The waitress was amazing through our dinner. Always stoped to ask if we needed anything or how things were. I am a sucker for good tacos, I will definitely make the 5 hour drive one way just for more of those tacos.

Came here to see the grandparents all the way from Minot, ND. This is their favorite place to eat so that’s where we went. The food was sublime, the service was even better. It’s nice to see a community of people who know each other so well and are so kind and caring. The owner knew my grandparents by name and the waitress knew their order by heart. If you go here, the flan is a must! Keep up the good work Raul!!

Stopped here on my way through town after a long trip. The atmosphere was cool and they seemed very busy. We were seated shortly after being greeted and I was able to get a booth as requested. The menu was HUGE and I loved that everything had the prices listed including their drinks. They also served salsa, beans and chips before your meal. I got a standard margarita and Los Dos Amigos. The margarita was really good not to sweet not to sour and had the perfect amount of tequila! The food portions were huge and i was shocked by the giant snow crab leg mine came with. Everyone was really happy with their meals and the server came over frequently to check it. She also gave me a to go water which was really nice. I would for sure come back next time i am passing though town. Much better than the Mexican place a block down that i tried last year.
