I used to come here a lot. About 8-10 years ago this was one of my favorite spots and I would be here often because I lived close by. I went recently after about 6-7 years. The food is decent but not exceptional. Reasonably priced and it’s a cool little hole in the wall. Decent but not great. Give it a 7/10 overall. Potatoes were not fully cooked and beans were plain.

I had cocido, it was good. Coffee was fresh and better than most. Our waitress was very accommodating, we had 9 at our table and she was happy to seperate the bill. They even allowed us to stay until 930pm, after closing. I’ll be returning to try other items on the menu.

Haven’t been here in a few years. Still pretty good overall. They still carry a varied menu. Had the Steak Picado with rice & beans. Had plenty of meat on the plate without being heavy on the onions & bell peppers. (Just add more pepper found on your table for a better taste.)
It’s said you know how good a Mexican restaurant is by its chips & salsa. Chips & salsa were near perfect. Chips were thin, warm & very crispy. I don’t know if the salsa came from a can but it has a light kick & better than most other restaurants that serve canned tomatoes.

Quaint little place… Fantastic food. Good service. Imitation crab tostada and asada burrito/ tacos were great.

My taste buds tend to think they are a connoisseur of Caldo De Cameron and you can aquire a decent Marisco bowl of that here.
Waitresses are friendly. Seating is booths and they also cater if you need that for an event or party.

August 17, 2025 breakfast at restaurant walked in front door trash pile very high once strike against walked in smelled very bad like back up sewer strike two went to the men’s restroom toilet was overflowing notified management strike three restroom should be checked every hour as I’ve worked for a restaurant before it was just a mess. Won’t be returning there again.
