Absolutely loved my visit to Nuku Nuku! I had the vegetable ramen, and it was outstanding — rich, comforting broth packed with umami, perfectly cooked noodles, and loads of fresh, flavourful veggies. Every spoonful felt warm and satisfying, especially on a Glasgow day.
The vibe is cozy and modern, the staff are friendly, and the food feels made with real care. It’s one of those places where even a simple bowl of ramen feels special. If you’re vegetarian (or just love great ramen), this is a must-visit spot. I’ll definitely be back ✨

Overall, would highly recommend this restaurant! A wide selection of Japanese cuisine with a modern/western twist to certain dishes. I love that I can find comfort in this as it reminds me of authentic Japanese food! Kind service although sometimes may be a bit of a wait. The music and ambience was great, not too loud and could hear my friends well during conversations. Pricing is reasonable for a Japanese restaurant in the city centre. Love the volcano rolls and poke bowls! Good portions too. Nuku nuku has become my go to Japanese in Glasgow

I would highly recommend this restaurant, as it offers a superb dining experience. They provide excellent halal options, and every dish we tried was simply delicious. We particularly enjoyed the bento box, which was my personal favorite, as well as the sushi and noodles, all of which were exceptionally good.

The staffs are all very nice. For the food, this is the worst ramen that I had in my entire life. Don’t come if you are a Japanese. The soup is sour, and the noodles is like spaghetti.
And the rice in the bento is so hard, like uncooked.

Tucked away but a delightful find!
The restaurant appears small but is quite spacious once inside.
We were walk-ins and were delighted to be seated within 5 minutes of getting in the door.
Their decor was quite kitschy, very much on theme. Good variety, although the menu does not match the one on display.
Portions were on the reasonable side, would’ve appreciated more broth to go with the amount of noodles you get but we did enjoy our bowls of ramen.
The beef was marinated/covered in batter, so just something to be aware of if you like beef ramen and expecting slices.
Where we were seated, we could feel the subway pass which added to the vibe of the place.
Service was on the slow side but food came out fairly quickly.
We would like to visit again and explore other dishes on their menu.
