Came here back in the summer for the first time. It doesn’t look like much on the outside or the inside but man their food is good! My hunny & I were both pleasantly surprised! We got biscuits & gravy, Belgian waffle, bacon & hasbrowns. All of it was delicious it’s especially hard to find good biscuits & gravy & they did it right ✅️ our waitress was super nice & made us feel welcome. Hidden gem, will def go back!

This past January marked the 1st time in over 20 years since the last time I dined in this venue.
Lived in Round Lake from May ’89-Nov ’02 which was when I was in & out of this place, stayed in Lake Bluff for a few months till I moved into a brand new house in Beach Park in April ’03.
I guess since living on the far NE side of the county, found myself eating at family restaurants much closer to home I suppose but the irony is that I attend a church in Grayslake a couple of Sundays a month for over the last 10 years.
Took me this long to finally stop in on the way home one Sunday, sad. The food here has always been good and I love dining in at family breakfast restaurants.
Good ol’ traditional home cooking at reasonable prices in a local-owned dining space that’s kept clean/sanitized, like I said good food bolstered by exceptional service.
Told my wife that The Triangle is gonna be a go-to restaurant restaurant from now on when coming home from church or if we happen to be in the area. Always happy to support local!

My son and I went to go eat there this afternoon we ordered multiple plates cuz it was his birthday just me and him our bill came out to 81 I had $20 in my purse and $100 that I took extra out of my card I thought I had the money separate so when I handed her the money for the bill I thought it was just $100 I was givng to her which would have been 81 and I told her to keep the change as a tip which would have been $19 when she walked away I lifted my purse to get my other 20 because I wanted to put gas it wasn’t in my car anymore I walked up to her right away she seemed nervous and I asked her that I give you $120 by mistake because I have 120 in my purse and I can’t find my other 20 and she opened this little black thing and she’s like 1 2 3 4 5 no you gave me a hundred she said no thank you and she walked away I didn’t want to continue so I just left and I started looking through my drawers at home and no the 20 was not there so I just don’t want to write them high because they’re dishonest and it doesn’t matter how good the food is or how good the environment is if they’re just dishonest people and the workers are so thirsty for an extra 20 probably she needed the $39.00 tip more the my 4 kids I have at school needed them I will never recommend this was like my fourth visit there because I make it a tradition to take my kids on their birthday for breakfast just me and them so I had already been there in the past 4 months I’ve been there three times September December January and now February and unfortunately it’s the last time I ever go there again I’d rather wait till the placed on the block is being remodeled than go in extra 2 minutes further as long as they’re honest

Excellent food, excellent service and excellent PRICES! Angie was our waitress and it was our first time here. We live quite far from Grayslake..so we probably won’t be back. This is a family restaurant with home made soups and other items on the menu. Too bad I didn’t take pictures! We had the triangle burgundy and the roasted turkey.

My son frequently dines here with his girlfriend and today he took me! Very impressive tasty dishes! Large menu selection! Place was packed on a Sunday early afternoon but was able to get seating! Tried the saganaki, sweet and sour cabbage soup, spinach pie and New York Chicken Wrap and shared it all. All was cooked to perfection! Highly recommended!
