I got bbq sandwich the meat was old and dry most of the meat couldn’t even eat it. My husband got county fried steak his was good. Didn’t get asked if we wanted a refill til time to go and never was asked if our food was good until we was checking out. While I was there a lady called and said her burger was not done instead of refund they told her bring it back and she would have to wait til next day to get a refund because no Manger was there. First and last time coming to this place and had flies really bad

Been eating here for 30+ years from Mr.Ozier back and forth those years to Alicia coming in turning it into a cute homey place had wonderful staff from the early 90’s up until they recently in the last 2 years lost 2 of their best waitresses , now they can not keep a good staff flowing. Never in my years have I gone to a restaurant and been screamed and talked to the way I was at the hut a younger girl had to interfere to stop the situation. The situation she went off on me about has nothing to do with me. I have yet to receive a sorry anything from the establishment when they are all well aware and then a family member of goes in and a worker was taking their photos). I am not one to shame or disrespect a place we live in a small town 3 things to eat. We eat there 3/4 times a week which as of now unless our little sweet waitress is working will be none. I pray the hut can make a turn around and bring the clean establishment back to its original.

BBQ was had good taste, but came out cool. We spent over half our meal without a drink and the waitress never came with refills or to check on us.

BBQ place under the category of American. Great bbq sandwiches but also bbq nachos, pig salad, bbq quesadillas, bbq stuffed potatoes and the good ole bbq plate. The other menu items are excellent and the place also has a good reputation for its lunch specials and a Sunday meat plus three buffet. Enjoy.

To the people bad talking this place. … nothing is perfect but Jesus. Saying that I do believe these people care and do thier best. The reason people complain is because this place is so good it gets busy from time to time. Im not kissing thier butt, im praising the great job The Hut does for our great community ,in this great country ,under our great God.

We have been going here off and on for 6 years. In the past 2 years or so the service and food have really gone down hill. I am 100% for small business, but not horrible customer service. This past experience was the last for me. We were a party of 8. We ordered all at the same time, stated it would be seperate checks 6 on one, 2 on the other. The original waitress was so kind and helpful. Then somehow she gets pulled from our table after getting drinks, Taking the order, bringing the appetizer, and getting our orders to the kitchen. The waitress that took over was rude. She brought all but 1 order out, brought them all at different times, never refilled drinks etc. 2 orders of the 3 chicken tender orders were burnt to a crisp. The last order she forgot ( which she didn’t figure out on her own, we had to flag her down) came out burnt, and after the rest of the party was finished eating, therefore, it was taken to go. The poor waitress who originally was our waitress, I doubt received the tip. We won’t be back. We have attempted to go 4 times since the service and food went down hill, and each time it gets worse.

First time trying. We had an order for four of us to go. Got home, they forgot one persons food and an order of fries. Got a speeding ticket on the way home (WACK) but the food we got for $10+per person was lame. Better value at McDonald’s. Here’s a pic of the “patty melt” my wife received.

I asked my server what type of fish was on the fish plate and she acted like she didn’t know what I was asking. It must have angered the staff because I was treated terribly afterwards. I don’t assume it’s catfish since places are serving swai in its place. It was a reasonable question and the hunchback server needs to learn some basic manners. I won’t be back.
