I stopped by and had such a great experience! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing from start to finish. The sushi tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful, you can really tell they use quality ingredients.
It seems like a brand new spot, and they’re already doing a fantastic job. The lunch menu is also very reasonably priced, which makes it an even better deal.
Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area. I’ll absolutely be coming back!

First impression on walking in- its a lovely little oasis on Francis Lewis Blvd., bright, cozy, comfortable and impeccably clean.
Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Service was attentive without feeling rushed.
Prices were reasonable and portions were more than adequate.
The food – so good!!! While checking out the menus we started off with hot tea. We ordered gyoza pork dumplings and beef negamaki.
The dumplings were crispy on the outside and filled with tender pork inside. Add the delicious dipping sauce on the side and you have the perfect appetizer.
The negamaki were well seasoned and deliciously tender rolls of beef and scallions. Loved them!
For entrees, we ordered spicy tuna rolls and red monster rolls. The sushi was not only beautiful to look at, it was fresh and delicious.
Trying the kitchen entrees is on the list for our next visit.
Having tried so many sushi places around Bayside, Hachikawa is now number one on our list.
We absolutely love Hachikawa & will 100% be returning. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for great sushi in a friendly comfortable atmosphere.
