Good German food but not the best I have had. The sausage flavors are fine but the links are not cooked very well. I think they are just steamed and barely warm. I prefer grilled. The side dishes are very good, but overall the portions are small. The sausage sampler platter only has two links. For the high cost I would think they could give you at least three. It’s worth trying once, and if you like German food you will probably appreciate it more than I.

Best schnitzel ever. Get the sampler platter if unsure. Big portions, yet super high quality. Butcher is the owner and he is always there on site. Lunch hours only. Closed Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Get some sausage to go.

I called to inquire about a charcuterie board that would serve around 20 people for a firm event. The meats (made in house) and cheeses were excellent and the price was reasonable for the portion size. After generally explaining what I was looking for, I left it up to them to decide what would go on the board. Everyone loved it!

Best German food in New York State. Their Jaeger schnitzel is my favorite. Very small place, with limited seating… but worth any wait. Great deli too. Staff is wonderful.

We got there right at opening and it was already starting to get busy! Definitely go early if you want seating. The service was fast and friendly. We loved everything we got and of course the beer!! Brownie points to the guys who broke out singing in a German song and then chugged their beer, definitely added to the vibe.

This was a great find on a trip with friends to the Finger Lakes area. We just got to-go cuts, but it looked liked a neat place for lunch. Very helpful staff. I would return next time in Rochester.
