If you are looking for a fun place to take your evening with your sisters to the next level, Shenanigans is the spot. The night was full of laughs, great vibes, and just the right amount of shenanigans. I went with my sisters, and one of them actually found love, it was such a joy to witness and be a part of. The drinks were excellent, the service was absolutely spectacular, and the energy made the night unforgettable. If you want good times, great people, and a little shenanigans in the best way, this is the place. 10 out of 10 experience.

I had the best time for my 32nd birthday going to visit Catfish Comedy at Shenanigan’s Pub DC! It was my very first time actually at a comedy show in-person. It was overwhelming fun.
I took pictures of like 95% of the comedians I saw that night. (Their names are caption on their pictures.) I actually arrived almost an hour after 8 p.m., because I was coming from another event a mile away.
I would go again for the food and parking is great (paid parking garage available across the street.) I love the whole aesthetics of the place ☘️ and the food I loved, def 1-3 leftovers if you buy a bunch of stuff. It’s awesome to help celebrate your Celtic heritage as well, so I’m glad I could support them. I’d suggest a friend/family visit.
Keep up the diverse events and hosting. It looks like the events have stretched almost a decade!

Bartender was great, DJ had a strange reaction to playing Latin music. Asked him to play Bad Bunny and he seemed strangely reluctant to. Not a knock against the bartenders they were great but I think DH could be nicer.

The bartenders and bouncers were so sweet and efficient. But when we got inside, we asked the DJ to play Hispanic music he vehemently objected. He made it a point to say “absolutely NOT” when we asked for Bad Bunny. I understand DJs deal with a lot of requests, but he angrily rejected Bad Bunny specifically.

They had a great deal on drinks when I was there, it was like 15 dollars for unlimited drinks until 10:00pm? The bartenders were nice and I never had to wait too long for a drink. Drinks were good, nothing to complain about there.
My only issue was with the atmosphere. It was just extremely crowded and there was nowhere really to sit down. This style of setup can be fun if the venue is high energy, but the night I went was mainly just large friend groups standing around awkwardly.
Also I don’t know what was up with the staircase, but it was dripping wet with water and had a foul smell.

This is the best hangout spot in DC. I went on the weekend and we had the best bartender. You could tell she makes all the guests feel welcome and doesn’t hesitate to crack a joke. She has the type of personality that you remember, and you can tell she goes out of her way to establish rapport with each guest. It was very busy, but all I had to do to get a drink is speak up and ask! Will be back to see Sam no doubt.

It’s a really seedy little place with bad music and a terrible menu. We got Buffalo chicken wings, it was the worst buffalo sauce I’ve ever had & they were saturated in it. Chicken was rubbery, served w/o plates, napkins, or utencils. Bartender was a nice guy, but seems easily overwhelmed.
