Twist is located in Breckenridge’s downtown historic district. We offer a locally sourced seasonal menu that can change daily based on what’s available and what looks fresh. Our menu is eclectic American with an emphasis on fish and game. We are chef owned and operated and love making people happy by serving delicious food.
So bring your friends and family, and let them enjoy what’s a little bit off the map when it comes to ordinary cuisine. Twist is something a little different and very special, and we can’t wait to welcome you!
Eclectic American comfort food served in a cozy cottage eatery with a patio & mountain views.

We ate at the bar because they were busy. Great service! The atmosphere was so cozy and it was quiet despite being loud. We ordered the buffalo NY strip steak and the lamb chops. Both were amazing. The lamb chops were cooked amazingly and the buffalo New York strip was not gamey at all, just was really delicious! We got blackberry mocktails and the Carmel bourbon apple churro as well as the peanut butter Chocolate torte cake and everything was so good!

EAT HERE. Twist was excellent! Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They had a very cool “twist” on Indian street food, pani puri, that we were able to try and I ended up enjoying the braised tempeh. I was SO happy to have something vegan, beautifully seasoned, and protein-rich after a day of skiing. It felt like many of their offerings could be considered elevated comfort food, which is perfect on a wintery day on or off the slopes.
Great vibe in a beautifully renovated old house. I appreciate that they worked some sound absorbtion into the decor to help with noise. I love when restaurants do this.

We absolutely love the ambiance of Twist. Cozy and charming, with the fireplace in the downstairs dining area in the bar. Nick was out server and Randy was out bartender and they hosted us exceptionally. Great recommendations and world class service. The food was phenomenal. I loved the calamari. My bison short ribs were melt off the bone tender with this really cool black rice, first time I’ve tried it and I loved it. The Colorado Ribeye was a hearty cut of beef and very satisfying after a long day if snowboarding. Thank you for a wonderful meal and an excellent evening. We will be back to check out the happy hour with the small plates soon!

Ashley was such a lovely server and gave us some cool recommendations! We really enjoyed the shortrib, and the “pork and love”was my favorite appetizer. You have to try the baked Alaska for dessert!

I cannot begin to express how lovely of an experience we had at Twist. The food was PHENOMENAL. We came for a spontaneous date night and a pre-thanksgiving celebration. I’ve never had Baked Alaska before and when I saw it on the menu I actually ordered it first! It was so unique and delicious. I then got the risotto, the chorizo, octopus and chevre made the flavors pop. I cannot wait to go back here! Thank you!

This was our first time visiting Twist and we’re so happy to have found it! The service that Sara provided was wonderful, and we so appreciated her recommendations.
We had the Mussels and the Palisades Peach Caprese salad appetizers, the Prime Ribeye and Mahi Mahi Koi Soi entrées, and the Cheesecake for dessert, and would definitely recommend each one! We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Breckenridge!

Ashley was so amazing. I asked what her suggestions were on everything and we ordered based off her favorites. Everything from the cocktails, to the appetizer, entrees, and desert she suggested, was absolutely phenomenal! Hands down the best meal I’ve ever had in Breckenridge. World class service and food! Complements to the chef! We will be back again and again.

What a great little find in what looks like a historical home turned into a restaurant. Indoor and outdoor seating, tables and a bar.
The food was incredible and the chef brought us our dinners. We ordered the pork wings burrata with peaches as appetizers – each dish was an explosion of unexpected and surprisingly well-paired flavors. These are not menu items I’ve seen or tasted before.
The buffalo tenderloin was delicious, served with asparagus and perfectly whipped potatoes. My partner ordered the almond-crusted trout (not pictured) and shared a bite. It was so flavorful, especially with the pesto.
We don’t get to Breckenridge often, but we will definitely eat here again when we do.

The servers were friendly and even took a photo for us. The food was very delicious. We had beautiful views of the mountains from the upstairs dining room. Highly recommend this spot!
