Had the most delicious dinner yesterday with all dishes cooked to perfection surrounded by a buzzing vibe. The staff were excellent and tentative throughout our meal. The quality of ingredients were off the scale n I will for sure be going back…….Love this place.

I was in the area and it was lunch time on a grey and rainy Thursday . I wanted to check this place out for a long time, and this was the perfect timing to do so. I had the Acme marmite butter, naan bread and pecorino, followed by the venison and pork seekh kebab with roscoff onions and guajillo butter, plus the butterflied recheado prawns, ancho and lime. The naan bread with marmite was genius, pungent enough to marry the naan bread perfectly and then ending up in a perfect trio with the pecorino shaved on top! Amazing start! The Seekh kebab with venison and pork meat was also divine, tasty and elegant at the same time, the marriage of pork and venison really worked wonders. I had a Gruner Veltliner to start with, and when the prawns came I switched to a Riesling which was recommended by the fantastically friendly and competent Scottish maitre d. Needless to say the prawns were great as well. The service throughout was incredible, warm, nice, made you feel at home kind of service. Even the busy chefs were smiling and chatty when they could do so. I’m definitely going back with a group of friends as this place deserves to be enjoined with a group of people that want to order and taste the whole menu. Thank you guys you were amazing.

Unreal again! Made it back for their new curry menu!
We had the Railway Lamb! I don’t know how they packed so much flavour into that! And a very generous 3x thick lamb chops. We also had the Cod cheek skewer which were beautifully cooked with an almost jelly like internal texture. The Pork and Venison kebab was also a highlight. Only two of us but wish we could have the full menu!
The staff and drinks were also top tier. Really warm feeling in that room. The Tempranillo is a great house red and the Green Marg with pineapple is a proper treat. I don’t like flavoured margs but that was banging

Love this place. Great food cooked over fire, not just epic meat but standout fish and veg dishes too. You can sit inside or outside under cover and feel part of the action watching the chefs. Solid wine list and great beers from 40ft Brewery next door. I’ve been a few times now and it never disappoints.

I rarely leave reviews for so-so places but felt compelled to leave one this time around. The atmosphere and the service at this restaurant were great, but my friend and I tried a variety of dishes most of which fell short. The leeks and cabbage were lovely, as was the shikh kebabs (a February special). However, the lamb chops were tough, dry on the inside, and felt as if they were drenched in oil and spices. Aubergine curry similarly felt like random spices and a heap of oil were just dumped on top. Conversely, the potatoes were essentially just boiled plain without much seasoning at all and completely flavourless. Both my friend and I left with stomaches. Overall just a sadly underwhelming experience, which is a shame because the staff and vibe was nice!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. Every single dish was absolutely amazing—beautifully prepared and full of flavor. Even the tap water was very delicious! The attention to detail really shows. Special thanks to Chef Andrew Clarke for such an incredible meal. I can’t wait to come back.

We had a lovely lunch at Acme Fire Cult and I love how the vegetable dishes get as much attention as the meat dishes. The dishes were beautifully cooked and presented and everything tasted delicious! Definitely looking forward to coming back in the summer and sitting outdoors!

I’ve been here many many many times. I have probably eaten everything on the menu. This is my fav restaurant in London by far. It is a restaurant that you want to return to. The vibe, the people who work here – absolute class. The food is mesmerizing. Recently had the Bloody Mary martini which I think is one of the best and cleanest and most balanced cocktails I’ve ever had. I’ve polished off a double cut Tamworth pork chop alone. After starters. So good. Shameful.
I’ve made it a point to bring friends and family over here many times. And it has always been a fantastic experience. Suggest everybody reading this does the same. You cannot go wrong with Acme Fire Cult.
Must also point out that my wife is vegetarian. She LOVES coming here as well. This place just works!

Unfortunately, was not the best experience and it would make me quite unlikely to recommend this place or return.
The cold and the hot plates were delicious, really enjoyed the marmite bread topped with pecorino and the leeks!
The stars of the show though, the meat cuts, both disappointing sadly. The pork chop, half of it was literally fat, the other half tasted nice though. The bavette steak came out very chewy and stringy the first time. So much so that we had to send it back and get another.
The atmosphere, none there, chaotic outdoor style benches. Might appeal to some people, but overall not the most comfortable way to spend an evening.
Final thoughts, you can not ask for the price tag you’re asking for and serve the quality of cuts we had. Definitely not value for money, unless you want a group of people to share one steak.
