The food is always, and always has been amazing. This has always been a favorite of my family since I was little. The customer service lacks a bit, and when I tried to spend two dollars out of the 20+ I gave them, the young man refused to take the 2- $1 bills because they were so worn and faded and said it looked like fake money. All I had besides that was hundred dollar bills, but he was able to give me change from a $100, but the fact he wouldn’t take the dollar bills that were gi en to me as change from the Maverick in town really bothered me and left me stumped. I mean, come on, they are $1 bills, and they were clearly just old and beat up. Besides the implication when he said they looked like fake money and refused to allow them to spend. No worries; I went and spent them in a machine at the grocery store, and the machine had no problem with them. We all know how particular the machines are, so they could t have been that bad.

They greet you as you enter and exit. Very friendly and professional. Great food! I always stop when I’m in the area. Clean!

Yes, Taco John’s is fast food… but it still hits the spot. The Crispy Chicken Burrito is my go-to, especially because it comes with Potato Olés tucked right inside. That crispy potato + chicken combo is just unfair (in a good way). And don’t get me started on the potatoes—those Potato Olés are ridiculously good: crispy edges, soft middle, perfectly salty… basically little golden problem-makers I’ll happily keep ordering. ✨

I ordered the taco burger. Now that it’s back on the menu. I cannot say enough good things about this menu item. The potato bun, the meat, the cheese and the shredded lettuce all together is a party in my mouth. I am so glad they brought it back!

Frequently stop here for breakfast. Idk who is in charge today. Today the potato oles were EXTREMELY salted. So much that even being mixed in the scrambler dish I could not eat it. I threw it away. The girl who took my order was super hard to understand. Too much of a forced customer service voice. Very whiny sounding .

I used to go to a Taco John’s in Montana when in high school. I was so happy to find one in Grand junction and could not wait to order a taco burger.

This taco John’s is pretty good they usually don’t mess up my order. One thing I do want to say is that after visiting multiple times, it seems they don’t ever used the signature seasoning on their potatoes. Really sad. It’s kind of what sets them apart from other taco restaurants. These last times I went they charged me for the nacho cheese and I didn’t receive it in the bag either time.
Dropped down to 1 star because of the response from the owner. ☹️

Could barely hear the order. Taker ended up getting most of my order incomplete and wrong. Did not get my sides. Just terrible. Don’t understand why but it was not even busy. Nothing was going on at this establishment and still got my order wrong and refuse to give me my money back after the fact will never return.

We’re full-time RVers and are always excited to find a Taco Johns near where we’re staying. It would be great if the potato oles were cooked a little bit longer. They should have some color and be crunchy. This visit the tortillas tore, meaning they are old. I would like to see people caring about the food they serve.
