Love the outdoor patio, fireplace, flowers and the screened in porch with the bobber lights. Food is always good. Nachos are awesome. Chicken sandwich was STELLER. Plenty of TVs inside to watch the big games and sit at the bar.

We enjoyed our blue cheese burgers and fries. They were really good! Their screenes-in patio was nice too.

Sat on patio with a large group. Our server and service was better than expected since our group was 20+. Food was served hot and our drinks were frequently full. Great job.

Great burgers! Mediocre service and typical small town bar/ restaurant atmosphere. Lots of tvs, loud music, 20 beers on tap. Worth a stop, but only if it’s on your way.

Look, I live here. I love this place. If I could legally marry the menu, I probably would. The food is fantastic, the beer is cold, the service is 10/10, and the vibe is usually unmatched.
But we need to have a little family meeting about The Door.
It is currently 11 degrees outside. Every single time that front door opens, an arctic blast hits about 10 spots at the bar and the front two tables like a scene from The Day After Tomorrow. I am literally looking at a table of customers having to eat dinner in full winter coats.
Now, I get it. We are Minnesotans. We are tough. We are born in the snow. But 99% of us generally prefer not to eat dinner in a parka. It is incredibly difficult to sell chili to people wearing mittens, folks. Opposable thumbs are basically the main thing that separates us from the badgers—we need to be able to use them without risking frostbite.
Ownership: Please, I am begging you—build a vestibule. Install an airlock. Put up a forcefield. Just give us a double-door entry so we don’t have to choose between a delicious burger and hypothermia.

Came here with family and friends for a late lunch/ early dinner. The atmosphere is homey and inviting. For beverages, my friend and I ordered a local beer, I think it was called The Twins. Very good. My aunt had one of their “Famous” Bloody Marys, which came with a beer chaser(!) For our entrees, my friend and I opted for the walleye sandwich. I got mine with a side salad with ranch, while he tried their chili, which he said was kind of sweet and not spicy at all. The fish was light and flakey and the bread was pleasantly lightly toasted. My aunt had the “walleye fingers” and my cousin thoroughly enjoyed his Bleu Burger. Our waitress was great, wish I’d caught her name.

Excellent food – especially that giant chili dog and we were able to bring a few of our adoptable rescue dogs along for a training field trip!

Nice cold beers and good food. Just a little bit expensive. We had one chicken saled , one burger with fries, and two beers. A few cents off $40. that was not including the tip.

My husband and I are full time RVers and we like to frequent local restaurants and bars to get a feel for the local flavor.
We came across this little gem while staying at Father Hennepin State Park campground. The beer was cold and the Bourbon blue burger was hot and fresh. Handmade patties made to order from their own blend of beef, and they were amazing. Maybe even the best we’ve had while on the road. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. The owner, Rob, was on site and very likable. The lake decor was perfectly done. Very clean and organized establishment. I highly recommend stopping by when you’re in the area.
