5-Star Service! The Manager and Staff are Top-Tier

I had an incredible experience here! From the moment we walked in, the service was absolutely amazing.

A huge shoutout to the manager, who was hands-down the best I’ve encountered. He was incredibly friendly and made a point to check on us frequently to ensure everything was perfect. You can tell he leads by example because all of the waiters were just as helpful, attentive, and professional.

To top it all off, the food was great. It’s rare to find a place where the hospitality matches the quality of the kitchen so perfectly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone. We will certainly be back!

The food was really good compared to the price. A lot of the rolls are really really good and fairly good quality lots of really great selection and almost any sort of sushi for any type for eater. There were only a couple things that we really didn’t like, including most of the fake crab filled rolls. The oysters were pretty tasteless but the ambience and the service definitely made up for that.

Overall would come back again because of the great value and atmosphere .

Could not make it to Round 3 of this AYCE buffet…

Tried this place for the first time and liked their set-up. Everything was made-to-order so we didn’t feel like it was sushi that sat out on the counter. Vast selection of appetizers, rolls, and Sushi.

Fun for a small or large group since you can sit together at the same table even if you have more than 4 people.

Owner was very nice and hospitable and working hard bussing tables and serving guests. Impressive actually, you can tell he really cares. Food was tasty and the service was very fast and friendly despite it being a Saturday night. Went here due to the shorter wait times instead of Gen or other KBBQ and came out very happy. Maybe that will be you too. Place should be rated higher.

For the price you can get decent sushi. Not great, but some items are better than others. Lemon pepper roll and salmon rolls were good. If you are hungry this place is a good option if you don’t want to spend a godly amount on sushi.

I had the ayce sushi for dinner. The quality was amazing. It was my first time there and everything blew me away. The decor is really nice. Seafood was very fresh and I loved the presentation on each plate. I’m obsessed with the baked mussels, they’re so simple yet so delicious, hand rolls were really good too.

This is probably the only AYCE sushi in Torrance as the other sushi restaurants in the area do not have AYCE. They do have inside and outside seating so they have plenty of room, but probably not enough for big parties of 6 or more. The ambiance is well decorated with loud music playing overhead.

I came here on Valentines day with my wife and they were very busy to say the least at 5pm. The waitlist was getting pretty long, I was 7th in place at 5pm, it took 50 minutes to get a table, again, it’s Valentines day, so understandable.

While waiting, I do have to say this about the waiters/staff. They were very fast at cleaning up every table after a customer had left, I appreciated that because it helped seat customers faster. I could tell that our waiter tried their best to be polite, I honestly understand how hectic the night was and I’m thankful they did a great job.

That being said, the sushi tasted good. I do feel they sometimes over-saturated the rolls with sauce. This is the first AYCE where they limit you on the amount of sushi you can order so 2 rolls per person, and 12 pieces of nigiri, which is written on the order sheet, but it was emphasized (hand written) for me to see, since I ordered more than I’m allowed. The sushi rolls had more rice added than other sushi spots and the fish itself was cut very thinly (as seen in one of my pictures).

I feel that an establishment like this shouldn’t skimp on their fish, especially for the price. Also, if you’re gonna limit the customer on their order, at least have an app they can put orders in and you be the one to limit when it goes out, instead of us waiting for the order sheet to return to put in our next order to beat the ayce time limit.

This place could’ve been a great sushi spot, but because of the limitations, I feel it hurt the establishment on the customer experience side. The price, the limitations, and the preparation of the food need some reconsidering for their customers. As other AYCE sushi places like Yuka, AYCE HB, and Sake to Me have figured this out already.

AYCE = All You Can Eat, is the middle name, so be hungry and ready to enjoy sushi when you come to this place!

The service was prompt, the place was busy but comfortable, everything was delicious and amazing beautifully presented.

Tips: It’s the first time for me and frankly, the first round was a bit overwhelming. Here are some tips:
1. plan it out first, assuming you will have either 2 or 3 (or even 4 or 5) rounds, so you can pace yourself.
2. Try a variety of things out, especially if you are here with a group, everyone can share, this was you can decide what you like to order more
3. For more expensive and limited items like oysters, see who wants it and who doesn’t and get the maximum number for the table and those who like them can have more. This way, everyone feels like they got the money’s worth and there is no wasting.
4. Start ordering for the next round when you are about 1/2 way through or before.

I really enjoy this restaurant every time I’m there. I am a fan of Japanese food and I would say this is the closest to the original Japanese food I had in Japan during my trips. The ingredients are fresh, the food size/portion is perfect so you can taste different plates and the service is excellent, they are super quick bringing out the orders and they are always checking on you. I really recommend this place and invite you to visit to enjoy the whole experience.
