Great restaurant, great service.
What I like it has a variety of foods, from chicken & shrimp salads, fried chicken, fried liver. Fried shrimp, Poboys, fried rice, Chinese food. And more. Prices are very reasonable. I haven’t eaten anything there I did not like.

Great food, lots of it! Very reasonable prices. Most people call ahead and take out. My wife an I eat in. Some of the best oysters, shrimp are fresh caught, not IQF. Fast service, very polite.
Lots to choose from, including pork and chicken dishes. My kinda place!

I have Chinese food at least once a week! And it’s been a long time that I got bad food. I wanted to like this, but was disgusted and threw it out! It tasted bitter and it was spicy – when I was ordering, there is no mention that the food is spicy! Very disappointed – the restaurant looks mismanaged and dirty! However, the prices are very affordable, and the portions are big!

I must not have been lucky. The sesame chicken platter had no meat . The sauce was good, and rice was seasoned well. But the sesame chicken had no meat in it. All I got was flour batter . This is a picture of the thick batter. Not happy.

First, time going. My friends recommended it. They said the food was very good. I ordered a popcorn shrimp platter with fries and two pieces of white chicken. The popcorn shrimp was imported, but I still decided to try it. It was dry and it was not hot, and the fries were not hot.Now I know what import shrimp means . Although it says that on the menu on all the pages that the shrimp is imported. It was dry. The two piece was like it was cook earlier. The platter was satisfying . Not sure if I’ll be going back.

Delicious, fresh fried seafood with just a hint of heat!
And cooked “just right,” not overdone, but succulent and tender meat with a light and crispy crust, the nice sized piece of fish, the generously large shrimp and the plump oysters (six of each, even though the menu said five ), everything was perfect!
I’m not usually a fry gal, but the battered FFs were hot and crispy as well and paired nicely with their tangy tartar sauce.
You also get a small lettuce & tomato salad and a half slice of bread, enough to make a tiny fishwich, if you want to
I can’t wait to travel through Breaux Bridge again so I can stop by Chen’s! Highly recommend

Pretty good food and great prices. Only complaint is they tell you order ready in 10 minute to every single person that calls in or walks in no matter how busy they are when it’s actually 30 minutes later. Stop telling everyone 10 minute lol
