Proud to say we got the first delivery ever for my 93 yo mother and it was a smash success. Albert the delivery man was intrepid, braving yapping dogs and steep steps and alley. Here’s what my mom Wilma had to say about the hot beef sandwich: “My lord, it might take me three days to eat all of this. It is so delicious. The broccoli salad is outstanding. I ate all the mashed potatoes and gravy first and it was delicious. Nothing had too much salt but that was good. I’ve got lots of salt shakers. They swapped blueberries for cherry cheesecake and it was really good but I could only eat a bite. It’s going to take me a while to work through their menu and I’m looking forward to it. Will they let me open a house account?” Thanks to Brett and Albert. You made our day. Keokuk is still a special place.
