A really nice tea spot with a calm, welcoming vibe. The teas were delicious with plenty of options to choose from, and the desserts were tasty. The soft, peaceful music and wooden furniture give the place a warm, relaxing atmosphere that makes it easy to enjoy your time. Overall it’s just a very pleasant place to unwind and have good tea. Great for dates.

This was a great experience. Very chill. Not too big. There was no wait. The floor tables were reserved for bigger groups. They have a projector and they were playing chill music.
You have to scan a QR code to order. I’d say we waited about 5-10 mins for our order. The items were on the pricey side. Def share the bingsooo which was $25. It’s ginormous. The red bean and black sesame were delicious. I opted out of all the sugar for my red bean smoothie and it was still good. I would come for those drinks again. The cro waffle and rice waffle were good too! The cro waffle is small but it comes with ice cream.
I got the hibiscus tea and it was $15 with 1 mug. I asked for another mug and they said no. They said they could give me a paper cup but I said no thank you.
Parking can be tight because there’s other Korean restaurants and k-pop karaoke.

I ordered Bingsoo to go for $28, and it’s much smaller than the in-store serving. I feel like I got ripped off.
UPDATE: Kimbae called me and she was very nice and accommodating and she had resolved the problem. So I’m updating my review fairly.

Delicious bingsoo (인절미) and very thoughtful interior design. The interior is based on traditional korean. The only downside is that the bingsoo didn’t come with dduk.
$25 bingsoo for about 4 people.

Love that we have a specialty Korean tea house in the DMV area. As a fellow Korean, I love that I get to try and discover different types of teas that I would’ve never known about before.
It’s incredibly busy on weekends and after dinner, but it gets quiet enough during off-peak hours for people to do some work here. Prices are on the higher end as well.
Definitely a unique find that you should try out!

Soricha Tea & Theater is a hidden gem for tea and bingsoo lovers. I’ve been here a couple of times now. Whether you’re here for tea or their amazing bingsoo, it’s always a treat. The black sesame bingsoo is hands-down my favorite — rich, nutty, and perfectly balanced.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for catching up with friends. The only downside is that their coffee and milk tea options aren’t as strong as their other offerings. Overall, still one of my favorite spots in the area — just not a go-to for coffee or milk tea.

I have been going here for years now and the quality and taste is always consistently amazing. This is my go to cafe when I go out either to study, with friends, or just for dessert! I’m absolutely in love with this place, the drink/dessert selection and the interior is super aesthetic. I always go at least once a month! 😀

I visited this place a while ago, but the memory stayed with me so strongly that I wanted to share it now. The café beautifully embraces tradition and creates a serene space for enjoying tea and desserts. From the wooden furniture to the shelves filled with handcrafted teapots and cups, every detail reflected a deep respect for culture and heritage. It felt less like a café and more like stepping into a traditional tea house where time slows down.
The tea service was exceptional—served in delicate glassware and brewed with care, it captured both beauty and flavor. The desserts also carried a traditional touch; the waffle with roasted soybean powder and syrup was delightful, but the highlight was definitely the large red bean shaved ice (Patbingsu). Generously topped with red beans, roasted soybean powder, and nuts, it was refreshing, hearty, and perfect for sharing.
What impressed me the most was how this café balanced authenticity with warmth. Even though it has been some time since my visit, I still remember how peaceful and welcoming it felt. For anyone who values tradition and a calm, cultural atmosphere, this is truly a hidden gem.

Fellas if you love ur girlfriend enough, this is THE DATE SPOT to go to. Super cozy atmosphere, incredible drinks, and the bingsoo is massive (in size and flavor). Ordering is easy too, order and pay through your phone!

Their bingsoo is good. I was surprised to find out that the ice wasn’t ordinary ice; I believe it was hojicha or something similar, and it was sweet. I added the red bean for an additional $2. While I would definitely order it again, it’s quite pricey, coming in at around $26.
