I visited on Valentines Day and must’ve come in just at the right time because there was little to no wait! I had the banana pecan pancakes which were a sugar lovers dream. If you don’t like your pancakes swimming in syrup make sure to ask for it on the side! The Taylor egg & cheese was good but I didn’t love the bread they used on it. Service was good even with it being very busy. Overall a pleasant experience and enjoyable food!

Came on a snowy day with the fam. Food was great and service good. Felt just a little rushed to put our orders in. The fried French toast with the strawberries and Nutella drizzle was delicious as were the Taylor ham, eggs and cheese bagel. The Hapgoods burger was good but didn’t see when ordering that it didn’t come with cheese. Our fault, not the servers. We had a great time and the large windows with the view to the beautiful house on the hill was perfect. Felt like we were in a life-sized snow globe. ❄️❄️❄️

My husband, mother and I went to Hapgood’s last night for dinner for the first time. But it won’t be the last!!! What a GEM!! We sat in front of the fireplace which was wonderful! First we were met by Daniel who was also our waiter. What a wonderful asset he is to this restaurant! He was SO welcoming and friendly! Then the menu is so extensive with a little bit of everything. My husband had the burger with sweet potato fries which was perfect. My mom had a small pizza which she loved, and I had the DELICIOUS beef stroganoff!! We were in Mountain Lakes to watch my grandson wrestle. While there I told my daughter and her boyfriend that they should go there for dinner after the match which they did and they LOVED it too!!!! I will certainly be back again and I would definitely ask for Daniel!!!!

Came here for an early Mother’s Day lunch and was beyond satisfied with the food.
Food: my entire family enjoyed their lunch with great options such as shrimp avocado wrap, but the appetizer of confetti fries and meal of chicken and waffles blew me away. Chicken and waffles were nearly perfectly done and offered a great apple cinnamon butter which accentuated the meal.
Service: expect a little bit of a wait when it is busy as there busing a lot of tables and it appears nonstop busy. Lian was excellent and took care of all of our needs.
Ambiance: deceivingly large place with multiple styles of seating and outdoor seating where we stayed nestled away in a nice residential neighborhood.

The food was so mid. I had the salmon and it was very poorly seasoned and the mash that came with it had no taste. The lemon sauce in the salmon was the only bit of flavor from the whole dish. My sister had the spaghetti and it was just ok. My mom had the burger and she really enjoyed it. It had nice flavor and the fries were good. We then had the chocolate lava cake it was gross. Idk how you mess up a lava cake but it tasted totally undercooked and it wasn’t even gooey or hot like a lava cake should be. Won’t be returning

This place is amazing. The food phenomenal. It all tasted like it was made from scratch. Very affordable for an upscale meal. Next time when we are in the area we WILL be back. Parking is on both sides of the street.

We had no trouble getting a table for four at 9:30 AM on a Saturday morning which was surprising. I have Celiacs disease and had no issues. The Healthy kick was delicious, they had gluten free toast and fresh fruit was substituted for the hash browns. The server was knowledgeable about allergies. We all enjoyed our meals!

Stopped by this diner on the way to the Poconos and was pleasantly surprised! The service was exceptional, and the menu had a great variety of options. The steak sandwich was the standout—tender and cooked perfectly. The coffee was also solid, and the tiramisu pancakes were fluffy, though I expected more sweetness and a stronger tiramisu flavor. The avocado toast was a bit plain and could use more seasoning, as did most of the other dishes.
Overall, it’s a charming spot in a quaint town that’s worth a stop for a good meal on your trip.
