I had their dinner special, 20oz Ribeye; it was cooked precisely to order (high rare/low mid rare), and it was one of the best steaks I’ve had (top 3).
The atmosphere is rustic, 1800s feel, and the service was great!

I wish I could give it a higher review. Service was on point. Nice manageable menu. Plated beautifully. A real gem in Virginia City. Hats off to the chef and entire staff. Will dine again.

I think our high hopes caused a slightly lower rating here. Our steak was quite a bit more rare then was ordered, even though it was cut so the Chef should have seen it. The flavor of what we did eat was tasty. While the charcuterie app was good and enough for us, it was not worth the price…needs more and something other then a honey condiment. The beet salad lacked everything that was supposed to come on it except the beets. I will say that our customer service experience was at least acceptable.

Besides the history, had the best steak I’ve ever had in my long life! Drinks were delicious and our server, Lilli, was the best. I’d highly suggest dining here. Don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Cute spot with great drinks. Most the food was great – especially creamed spinach! They weren’t very knowledgeable on food allergies but they were at least accommodating. Service was a little slow but very friendly!

They added lasagna to the menu this summer and I just had to try it!! It Was beyond awesome and tasty and I will continue to go back. Jeremy who tends the bar area is the best drink maker in town and is awesome!! The over all experience here is always great and I 100% recommend!

Not going to talk about our awesome waitress or the food which was excellent. Like literally better than that place in Manhattan :). I’m going to talk about the big room minimum extortion policy. This place is in the middle of nowhere. Sure it’s a famous western town but there isn’t a line around the block to get in this place. So you get the big room and then, they need to make a minimum: that’s their mistake. A draconian policy. Useless. Applebee’s bureaucracy. Tourist gouging. (My family has been in the valley since 1922) Our group were small spenders but that shouldn’t have been punishable. LOL.
