Update: 12/03/2025
Their new Eggplant parm pizza is a grandslam…Incredibly flavorful and crispy!
This is my New favorite Pizzeria in Boca Raton!
Mike, the Owner, is super friendly and is willing to accommodate to your dietary restrictions.
My kids absolutely Love their pepperoni pizza and the Chicken parm and my wife is crazy for the penne a la vodka and the fresh Cannolis!
I come for the buffalo wings! Their perfectly cooked, always fresh and the sauces… Mama Mia!
We eat here 3xs weekly, love this place!
Update: I went to try to give the Grandma’s pizza another try. I order a whole pie to take home to the family. A whole pie only had 5 slices of fresh mozzerella. At least two slices with no mozzerella.
Terrible experience.
Will never go back.
This was my first time trying Canoli Kitchen at any location. A cheese pizza is the one item a pizza place should be able to hit out of the park.
My concern started with the timing. From the moment I placed the order to when I picked it up was less than 10 minutes—about 7 minutes total from when I called to when I pulled up. When I arrived, the pizza was already boxed and sitting on the counter. The store appeared fully cleaned, and the two people working (who I assume were the owner and a counter employee) were standing around waiting to close. I remember when I called they said it would be ready in 5 minutes and I didn’t really consider this before running to get it.
There’s simply no realistic way to make a fresh pizza, bake it properly, box it, and have the kitchen completely cleaned in that amount of time, not even in a high volume pizza shop. Something didn’t feel right. While I can’t prove it, the pizza tasted like it had been reheated rather than made fresh. Either way, the end result was disappointing.
The pizza wasn’t inedible, and I won’t say it was the worst I’ve ever had, but I expected much more. It didn’t improve after cooling, and reheating didn’t help either. At the very least, every pizza that comes out of the kitchen should be something the restaurant is proud to serve. If that standard can’t be met, it shouldn’t be served at all. It isn’t fair to the customer.
One additional note: be prepared for the tip prompts on the POS system. The cashier was very nice, but the tip solicitation for counter service detracts from the experience. For that reason, I’d rate the service a two.
Please know they changed their closing time to 9pm but did not change their Google listing.
Food was absolutely amazing!. The gentleman made us the best garlic spaghetti with fresh vegetables. Honestly, it’s probably the best garlic pasta I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with care. We’ll definitely order again!
