GOT FOOD DOOR DASHED TO ME AND WOOF! I GOT THE ENCHILADAS ROJAS CON ARROZ Y FRIJOLES. NOW THEIR TACOS WERE OK, PERO IVE HAD ENCHILADAS ROJA BEFORE AND ARE ONE OF MY FAVORITES PERO THIS ! NOPE! THERE SAUCE TASTED LIKE IT WAS FROM A CAN, THE TORTILLAS WERE NOT FULLY COVERED WITH THE SAUCE(EVEN IF NOT GOOD)AND THE CARNE WAS MOSTLY ALL FATTY (THE ONE THAT IS UNBEARABLE TO EAT NOT THE GOOD ONE) I TOOK 3 BITES PERO IT WAS A NO GO! I TRIED!
LOOK EVERYONE LIKES WHAT THEY LIKE, I UNDERSTAND THIS BECAUSE I LIKE WHAT I LIKE BUT I DONT OR NEVER WOULD SERVE FOOD TO ANYONE IF I KNOW OR FEEL IT TATSTE OFF OR NO GOOD. This was one of the only places open late on a Sunday. We were out late trying to find a place for my Birthday dinner. Tacos N Madre was open an hour before close and they were still willing to serve us❤️Food was great and I would go back again for the Street Burrito. Everything tastes homemade (dont skip the chips and queso that come with this meal ). We were the only 2 people dining in that night and there was karaoke in the other room which made it kind of loud but still a great (and amusing) memory for my 26th bday we attended on 12/21/25 around 10pm.

My wife and me been wanting to try octopus. I did a search and found Taco’n Madre Taqueria.
I ordered 2 Taco Gobernadoras to go. Wait time was very good. Person at the counter very friendly. The place is smaller, but friendly. Prices were good.
Took the taco’s home. We got 3 different hot sauces. The taco’s were nothing short of outstanding. I found out I like octopus.
We will be going back.

Been coming here for lunches for about the last month now – and my god the birria tacos are to absolutely die for, never have I encountered a lunch item that so persistently heals my soul such as this one.

On top of that, great building for a group lunch and wonderful service!

This is a great spot a bit out of the “typical” Mexican and Latin food district of St. Paul. You’ll feel like you’re headed into a residential area – and you are. What must have been a corner bar or store back in the day is now serving up great Mexican fare. We were a bit hesitant when we got there given the setting, but the food was top notch. Looked like more of a take out than dine-in spot.

Restaurant was clean with friendly staff. You pay when you order and food is brought out to your table. My husband was a little concerned with the price BUT was pleasantly surprised with the amount of food we got. Portions are very generous and everything was delicious! Will be back when I’m in the area!

Authentic Mom & Pop place in the GAP neighborhood. Good food! The chef made the Torre De Mariscos without onions especially for us! I would recommend the Birria Tacos-the slow roasted beef inside is so tasty!

Best chimichanga I’ve ever had! Service was polite and quick and friendly. Great choices for meals. Everything was fresh. I ate here for lunch. Kind of like a little secret in the neighborhood. Cute outside sidewalk patio that is kept tidy. Would definitely eat here again.

The service was very nice and friendly, the place is very clean, every dish is well presented, the food portions are very generous and the seasoning is authentic.
