Worst and most awkward dining experience I’ve ever had. I went to Vick’s with a friend of mine and we were the only guests there, which wasn’t a good sign to begin with. We were then seated and ordered our food and during our meal the biggest cockroach I’ve ever seen crawled up my leg and I had to hit it away with steak knife. The cook then came over and stepped on it before sweeping it away. After all that they still tried to charge us for the meal citing that the manager wasn’t around to comp and that they’d later make it up to us if we came back. They then tried to process our payment three times but their machine wasn’t working before deciding to let us off with the bill. Simply outrageous experience.

We bought the Groupon and then was charged wayyyyyy more than the dinner for 4 was worth (WAY MORE!) Spoke with the manager and he just made excuses as for all the extra charges. If we didn’t have a Groupon, we would have been charged $137 for dinner for 4 people… For a place that looks & feels like a knockoff Denny’s! SMH! If you visit and spend your hard earned money at this place, PLEASE be prepared to come out of your pocket and don’t let the look & fell fool you!

What a nice surprise Vicks International Steakhouse. Eileen and I had lunch, Eileen had a cheese steak with french onion soup and a baked potato, and I had a Reuben sandwich, chicken orzo soup, and seasoned fries. Wow what can I say, everything was fresh and tasty, and the restaurant manager and staff were just great.What a pleasant surprise and just minutes from Apopka.
