Drove 3 hours and saw this little gem and decided to stop.. the place was very clean, the service was fantastic and the food.. well let’s just say I would gladly drive 3 hours just to eat there again! Food is good but the staff is rude, tries to up charge you, and get mad when you correct them. It’s the closest store to my job and if I had any other choice I wouldn’t go to them. I think they expect a tip and if I were actually eating there that’s fine but I’m not tipping just to run in grab my food and go. The one time I did eat in, I tipped and their attitudes were completely different. This past time I tried to call in my order and they didn’t answer so I went in and at first he flippantly told me to “If I wanted to order call it in” before I explained that I tried and they didn’t answer. This will be my last time eating there. There’s better places with NICER workers!!!!

There were 7 of us that stopped here on our way through town. I ordered a ground beef taco, one lady got a quesadillia, one got chicken fajitas, one beef fajitas, one cheese enchiladas… I forget what the other 2 got. The salso tasted faintly of ketchup, which was weird, but the chips were fresh and hot. They brought our our food and I was given a shredded beef taco. Not a big deal, but not what I ordered. I casually mentioned I had ordered ground beef and was informed that no, I was wrong, I ordered shredded. OK. I’ll let that go. When we left, I got a ton of attitude because I asked for an itemized receipt (work trip) for my $145 bill. After we left, one of us had severe diarrhea for 24 hours, one vomiting and diarrhea for 48 hours and one nausea for 24 hours. This is a trip that we frequently make and will never stop again.

My family and I have been huge fans of El Rodeo for over 20 years. My 3 kids grew up with them. Birthdays and anniversaries are celebrated with them. I have never had a bad meal there and they always provide service with a smile and a kind word. And the Fajitas Rodeo is amazing!!!!!

It’s simply hard to beat in terms of Tex-Mex along with a huge variety of unique dishes that are sure to please. Get the Mexican dip. The Cheese dip is the best compared to all other similar restaurants around the country. Their salsa is also second to none. If the chips are fresh, you’re in for a pre-meal treat. Addictive! All dishes can be customized to your liking.

Always good with super friendly service. It’s ok to order in Spanish- they love it and will play along and help! They switched from diet coke to diet Pepsi so be aware – it’s ok because it’s the cheese here that makes this place the best Tex-Mex food hands down. Get the Mexican dip and be done with it.
