Visited based on Yelp reviews for great menudo. It was okay but not the Menudo I was hoping for. I want a greasy flavorful broth with pansa that doesn’t include patas. I definitely did not get that here. The menudo wasn’t very flavorful and the hominy was very overcooked. I did have a chicharron Gordita and that was tastier. The corn masa was delicious! I was also hoping for a home brewed pot of coffee and instead their coffee is a Folgers coffee dispenser.

I came by last week to try out their flour tortillas and noticed they also sold food. So I decided to give them a try this week. Boy, let me tell you!! If you have not tried this place out come on over. The food is delicious I ordered two fajitas tacos and ended up taking one home because they are so full of meat. They are also full of flavor, and the meat was super tender. Just thinking about these tacos makes my mouth watery. I’m definitely going back to this place again.

Don’t order barbacoa here! They nickel and dime you. The salsa and chopped up cilantro and onion are all extra charges. Ridiculous! It ends up being an extra $5 for all the “add ons” which should automatically come with the barbacoa.

The food is delicious but their service is horrible! Waited about 25 min for our food, 4 tacos, however a customer comes in about 8 minutes after us and in 2 mins gets her food. The employee knew her by name so obviously her order was prioritized. Then another customer comes in about 10min after us, orders about 5 tacos and within like 3 min, had their food too. And no they did not order beforehand, I clearly heard them placing their order. Also the employee who took our order had no sense of urgency, instead she was chatting away with a customer. Had to keep asking to check on my order. If I had no urgency, then I wouldn’t had minded as much. Usually 10-15 min is enough to pick up a few breakfast tacos. The food is good, but they need to work on their customer service since they have none. So if you’re planning on picking up food to go, make sure to call in your order way way ahead of time or have like 45min to spare to get your taco. ♀️
