Very busy on weekends for brunch. Check the website for wait times and to get on the list. It will cut your wait time a lot.
Our server was good. She was training a new server. So we helped him learn.
The purple lemonade was delicious.
The B.E.C was good. I chose to put the aoli on the side and I was glad. I didn’t care for the chilli aoli.
The blueberry cornbread was good, but some of the blueberries were a bit cold.
The bloody mary w/ bacon was good.
The skillet meal was good.

I ordered the same menu item twice, and the flavor was slightly different each time, but overall the food and atmosphere were very good. The quality of the ingredients was nice, and I enjoyed the dining experience. However, the server checked on us every few minutes, which felt a bit disruptive during the meal.

First Watch is a solid go-to for breakfast, brunch, or lunch — just don’t rock up late, as they close around 2:30pm.

The food is consistently good and the drinks lean heavily into the “look how healthy I am” category.
Now… let’s talk about the coffee agenda. Like many American places, they really want to force coffee down your throat. Some of us — ahem, this Brit — would much rather have tea. And if I ask for English Breakfast, I’d love it to actually be English Breakfast, not a “surprise selection” of black tea, orange pekoe, or Earl Grey.
(Earl Grey is old lady tea. I said what I said. Come on First Watch — sort the tea situation.)

Juice-wise, Kale Tonic and Morning Meditation are popular, and I tried the Tangerine Dream from the holiday menu. Very refreshing — though more summer than winter vibes.

Food highlights:
• Avocado toast — excellent
• Chickichanga — a triumph
• Eggs Benedict — reliable and tasty
• Breakfast tacos — delicious but chaotically messy

Upgrade to the Million Dollar Potatoes if you value joy over cardiovascular health. Your heart may judge you, but your taste buds will demand CPR. Amazeballs.

Service-wise, this location isn’t quite as strong as the Reston First Watch. One visit felt a bit… who put a quarter in her? — very forced, overly scripted, and like management pressure had tipped things too far. I’d rather managers roll up their sleeves and help than stress the staff into awkward performance mode.

A later visit felt more balanced with better team cohesion, though there were still some mix-ups. For dietary needs, clearer explanations of what’s on the plate (and allergy checks) would really help.

Food = great.
Atmosphere and service = a bit hit and miss.

Top Tip: it can be busy on weekends so go to their website and get in the queue to be seated – it will tell you where you are at!

First time visiting on a Sunday and we really enjoyed it! The wait was long (understandable for the weekend), but they have a nice waiting area with toys for kids, which helped a lot. Once seated, the food came out quickly.

The staff were friendly, organized, and always smiling. The menu has great variety, including healthier options like lighter meals and fresh choices. The prices are reasonable as well.

We will definitely be coming back!

The wait time wasn’t too bad considering it was on a Sunday. The food was good. We didn’t get to order dessert and we felt rushed.

It was a bit of a wait for our table even tho we got in line on the website but it was worth it. Our server Johnathan was so good he is sweet and so nice with my son & he was attentive to our needs.

Foot its not all that here. I had the chile chorizo omelet, no flavor. The drinking water had a smell. The ketchup container that came with my meal looked liked it had been seating uncovered for awhile. Million dollar bacon was good. Kale salad Nothing special.

I had an amazing breakfast at First Watch — everything from the service to the food was exceptional. The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Our meals were fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The avocado toast was perfectly seasoned, and the Smoked Salmon Benedict was a real treat! The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, making it a perfect spot to start the day. Definitely one of the best breakfast experiences I’ve had — I’ll be coming back soon!

Come here often and sometimes it can be hit or miss. This time they got everything right. Our waitress Carla was amazing and warm, just the right amount of contact and making sure that the food was exactly the way we wanted. The Blueberry Lemon cornbread was the star of the meal this time.

We always enjoy having weekend brunch at First Watch. The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious, satisfying, and served in generous portions. They use only the freshest ingredients sourced from local suppliers. Our favorite coffee to order is the Honey Caramel Crunch Iced Coffee, and the Purple Haze juice is a refreshing blend of teas and sugar cane.

During our visit, we ordered the Avocado Toast with a side of ham and a muffin, which was both excellent and nutritious. The blueberry muffin was also moist and delicious. We also tried the Salmon Benedict, which came with hollandaise sauce and a mixed green salad on the side, and it was all quite tasty. However, we did notice that the portion sizes seemed smaller. I wonder if this is specific to this location or applies to all First Watch restaurants.

The interior decor of this new First Watch location left us impressed. Everything was new and spotless, and the high ceiling made the space even bigger, which added to the ambiance. First Watch has become one of our top breakfast destinations thanks to its menu that strikes a perfect balance between health-conscious and indulgent options. Whether you’re a health nut or a foodie, there’s something for everyone here. We’re already looking forward to our next visit and eager to explore more of their breakfast offerings.
