Cracker Barrel is a classic. Only suggestion is to rethink that HashBrown casserole Shepard Pie. Just not a good combination.Hush puppies the best I’ve had at a restaurant. Service was wonderful .

We hadn’t been eating inside much because frankly I had a couple of morning servers that never checked on me after bringing my meal. (I was a server for 4 years, my sister almost 50 years so I know the crucial importance of customer service). However, we decided to try it again tonight and I’m so glad we did! Wesley was our server, and was top notch! He took care of us, was so very friendly and spot on with everything! I gave the food a 4 just because the cornbread was dry and a little crumbly like maybe it had been in the warmer awhile, and the pork chops were a tad tough (I had trouble cutting it with a steak knife). However, the flavors were very good and our sides were great. The toughness of the meat isn’t the cook or servers fault as they were not overcooked. Also, I figure the cornbread being dry is probably more of a manager responsibility than a server as far as when they should be tossed for fresh. Anyway overall great experience and left feeling full and happy. As a former server, I always watch how the servers treat other customers, not just me. Wesley was great with everyone. So friendly and accommodating. No I didn’t complain about the the chops or cornbread as it wasn’t that big of a deal. I’m only saying why I didn’t give it 5 stars.

After all the big uproar about Cracker Barrel my friend wanted to stop in for pancakes. We were in the Branson area. Uncle Hershel was still on the sign, and the place was packed. I have to say this location was on point. Everything was good. They serve mimosos. The staff was great, rocking chairs still rocking, and the gift shop was popping, full of goodies. Long live Uncle Hershel!

Jenny was our Waitress and she was AWFUL! RUDE to several members of my family TRYING to tell us how to Order! RUDE about Refills & Rolling her eyes when we Asked for Condiments or Grilled Sourdough Bread that we Never ended up getting! TRYING to Rush us off because she was getting OFF & Wanted her Tip! Food was ALL good, but Service was Atrocious! We were having a Birthday Party for my Grandson with 10+ people and Love Cracker Barrel, Normally! We ALL Regularly Eat Out & Hopefully you don’t get JENNY as a waitress!
*Love going to Cracker Barrel! Everything is Delicious! Restaurant is Clean and Helpful employees! Love the Meatloaf, Sweet Baby Carrots, Macaroni and Cheese, & Mashed Potatoes. Pot Roast is Delicious! All kinds of Great, Tastes like Home-made Food! Also, love the breakfast items and the Delicious, grilled sourdough bread! The Gift Store is very NEAT with All kinds of stuff to purchase from Holiday decorations to Candies to Toys & Clothing. Great Sales on specific items. Always have Neat stuff! Enjoy looking around the store that always has Neat items! Definitely Recommend shopping & eating for a Great Meal & good daily Specials!

I had ordered the Steak and eggs meal. It took them a few times to cook it well done corre try. I have never seen staff and managers so dedicated to make sure i was happy. It was so impressive. Where they might be concerned about losing a customer, I can guarantee them we will definitly be back. The steak was amazing with excellent and precise seasoning. I will order it again for sure.

Granted it’s been over a year since I visited a Cracker Barrel. I bought the Mommas Breakfast. The three very small, thin pancakes I received each had its own consistency. The first was very soft and just a hair thicker than a crepe. The second one was very dry and a little thinner than the first. The third was very chewy and just as thin as the others. Both bacon had been cooked either the night before or like 6 hrs before I showed up. The server confirmed they do not make fresh bacon. There are better breakfast places with much better quality.

This Cracker Barrell was superb. The wait time at lunch on a Wednesday was brief (< 15 min). The hostess Kyla and the waitress Beverley were cordial. The fire was cozy on the 19F day outside. The chicken fried chicken with country green beans and mac'n cheese were remarkable. The grilled chicken tenders with broccoli and dumplings looked amazing. This meal will not soon be forgotten. Thank you!

Not a great experience. Food commercially prepared not from scratch anymore. Everything over salted. Biggest concern was I ordered 4 OVER MEDIUM style eggs and spouse order 2 OVER MEDIUM EGGS. Out of 6 guess how many were over medium? None. Everything was extremely runny. Overpriced? Yes! Overrated? Yes!

I don’t do Cracker Barrel much because it seems my order gets messed up nearly every time. But, I have a friend who likes it, so that’s where we ended up.
Went for breakfast, and I sat for over 10 minutes waiting for a server. Watched while a server cleared a couple of tables… I mentioned I wanted to order so she came over, and I ordered a coffee. She went back and cleared a large table, returned to clear another smaller one… then after over 20 min sitting at the table, she brought a coffee. I drank it before the meal came out but didn’t get a refill until I asked twice, and we were ready to leave.
When she took my order, I told her what I would like, she just stood there. So we just sat there looking around like.. this is where you go get my food. After a bit, she says, “What else?”
Nothing else, I just came here for food.

She was rude, slow and she obviously didn’t want to be there… and that’s how she made me feel.
Quite a different visit from the original review visit.

I will be honest I’m not a fan of Cracker Barrel. They seem to always manage to mess up whatever I order. But this breakfast was spot on! Had that country boy breakfast with all the meats and a side of eggs and grits. The server even asked if wanted a spoonful of butter on my grits!!! Who would say no?
Everything was right, the service was perfect and I was surprisingly happy.
