I ordered a “Giant” spud, chicken, bacon, ranch. No ranch add extra chicken and chili. I got 2 little potatoes so hard and stale my knife wouldn’t cut through it. I asked the girl when she delivered it if it had and chicken on it at all. This was $21

The McAlister’s Club with steamed broccoli and an Arnold Palmer (sweet tea + lemonade) is my cheat code for a solid lunch that feels like a treat but doesn’t leave me sluggish. The sandwich is always stacked just right — fresh lettuce, juicy tomato, crispy bacon, tender meats, and the cheddar/mayo combo is on point. The steamed broccoli on the side makes me feel like I halfway made a healthy choice .
Plus, when I don’t feel like cooking or waiting in long lines, this is my default. Hits every time.

We like this location because of the tasty food and decent portion size, even for the pick 2. Well today changed that. The portion sizes shrunk immensely and what was provided was embarrassing. I ordered to go and after I picked it up at the counter I thought the bag felt light. Went back in and let them know they forgot a bowl of soup and all the dressings for the salads. An employee said she just made it but it clearly was forgotten. We won’t be eating at this location for some time. Hopefully it gets better but it was ridiculous for the price we pay. The pictures say it all. The salads were tasteless and that is usually not the case. The employees weren’t bothered by the fact that they actually had to work and that the order was wrong.

I typically order via GrubHub, but had some summer interns this year that I wanted to take to lunch, and McAlister’s was the place of choice. Apparently the male interns had been visiting quite often. It was a very clean restaurant, nice employees and the food was just as good as it is every time I order it, I just had the experience of having them plate it and bring it to my table this time. And I ran into a friend’s mom that I had not seen in months and got a chance to get one of her signature hugs. If good people like that love the place, it’s definitely another good reason to come back.

Although the sandwich I had was pretty good, the quality of the lettuce that is provided as part of the salad was not acceptable. Having completely spoiled and / or rotting lettuce mixed in the salad can result in people getting very sick. Now if this were a one time thing, I might have been understanding to this being a simple mixup. This has happened the last 2 times I have also been here over the span of the past 2 months. I have no idea how this continues to pass health And safety inspections. Until they start following proper procedures for maintaining leaf greens, I cannot recommend anyone to eat at this location in an effort to protect the health of the general public.
In addition to the health issue identified above, it took nearly 30 minutes to get my food and there was a total of 4 people in the restaurant when I placed my order. This should have been 10 minutes max.
And to provide a fair objective opinion, I regularly frequent the McAlister’s in Wentzville. I have never had an issue with the salads or food at that location so it should not be a lettuce quality / distribution problem for the chain and the service there is very quick. I’m not sure what issues are going on at this particular location, but it is putting public health in jeopardy.

This was my first time eating here and it will be my last. I had the worst French dip sandwich ever, soggy bread, dry meat, no flavor and the Au Jus was just colored water, no taste at all. I won’t return.

I had the best 1/2 turkey club minus the turkey, sub in ham sandwich with a salad. Wow! It was enough for 2 meals. It was the most satisfying sandwich I have had in a long time from take out.

The salad was decent but there was not a lot of care given to the way the sandwiches were made in general. I discovered wax paper still on the cheese of my sandwich and the ingredients were also disproportionate and distributed unevenly.
