We stopped here after a long day of flying and then about a bit of driving from Bozeman. We went in and were seated right away. The waitress was very awesome. She had a great attitude and was very friendly. It was a Friday night so I ordered the prime rib. We were there later in the evening and the prime rib was sold out. I chose the ribeye instead. My son had the sirloin steak. The steaks arrived at the table done perfectly. I don’t know if it’s the beef, the chef, or something else they are doing here but I’d rank both the steaks easily in my 5 that I have ever had. The steak definitely stole the show, but the brussels and bacon were a perfect side to my meal. The other meal came with fries and again this was a fan favorite from my son, in his top 5 of homemade fries. I highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area. We’ll be back again!

Pretty disappointed, it seems like a place you def go for atmosphere. The takeout was trash. Literally brown avacado idek how that passed kitchen, the salmon was burnt flavor, no Asian marinade, rice was somehow over cooked and under cooked. Mushy & crunchy. They gave me tiny portions of carrots and cucumbers which was the best part aside from the onion soup they charged me for even tho they said it came with the meal. Which I guess in to go they just put the cheese on top in a plastic bag, was weird. All I could manage to eat was a few bites & pick at it. $27 smh.

Steak was cooked exactly to my liking which is rare these days. The onion soup almost stole the show. Attentive service. I didn’t know there was no soft drink refills until seeing the cheque.

Took my wife out to dinner for our last night in the yurt. The food and service were really good, but the ceviche lacked some punch. 9.5/10 would stop again

Everything was 5 star… I had a perfectly prepared Flat Iron steak , without a doubt, the best I have experienced to date.( and we are from Texas) I enjoyed a bowl of a delicious ‘Red Bell Pepper Bisque’ My three dining companions enjoyed different versions of the Fettuccine Alfredo. Patty May, our server, was the most delightful individual, very welcoming and efficient. The decor in the Den was very tastefully appointed, tables were graciously spaced.
Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Great service & delicious food! Lynette , our server was so fun & sweet . I love the atmosphere as well. I like to try chicken fried steaks from different restaurants & cities since it’s my favorite dish… theirs was delicious!! It might be the best chicken fried steak I ever had in my life … well to be honest , I still have to try Paula Deen’s chicken fried steak at the Lady & sons in Savannah to compare , but for now , the Den is my favorite, hands down . I also enjoyed their coconut shrimp & The cheese cake with blackberry sauce ….yummy. To celebrate a fun road trip , I decided to do a couple shots of coconut tequila instead of my usual whiskey (Thanks to Lynette for the wonderful suggestion) … The coconut tequila shots were amazing… and yes I sang a little bit of Kenny’s You & Tequila “ quietly at my table , well , I hope . Give this place a try , you won’t be disappointed.

This is a gem of a restaurant – an oasis in western Montana. While billed as a steakhouse, it has plenty of other great options on the menu. Most importantly, it is a very friendly and welcoming restaurant with a professional wait staff. The ambiance is most pleasant, allowing for conversations without yelling – even in the bar area watching football on TV.
We ordered a tasty cocktail first, and had a wonderful salad with a generous helping of crumbled blue cheese. This was followed by a very well prepared walleye (pan seared and blackened).
All in all, we all agreed this is worthy of four stars and we hope you have the same experience we had!

Our motel in Dillion suggested this restaurant and I was so glad they did. Great bar and nice quiet dining room. The menu was great and it was difficult to make a decision because everything looked so good. My mom had the “frenchie”, a prime rib French dip, and I had the French Onion Soup with a salad. Our waitress was darling, helpful, and attentive to our needs. The decor was very “Dillion Montana”. I HIGHLY recommend the place if you are passing by or through Dillon.

This is by far one of the BEST steak houses I have ever eaten at! I lived in San Diego for quite a while and frequented many steakhouses but this place actually is far better than most of the ones I went to in San Diego. Although The Den is located in Dillon, a small “drive-by” town in Montana, I highly recommend eating here! If you have the time, take the drive and go to this restaurant. The service was impeccable! My steak was cooked perfectly! My kids were happy! I can’t say enough about how great the steak house is. Make this your next date night if you live close to Dillon!
