The service was kind and prompt, the food – delicious and beautifully presented – and the atmosphere was perfect from music to decor. Don’t sleep on the traditional yogurt drink, Ayran. It’s one of the best I’ve ever tried!
Lebanon restaurant is on the first level of a tall residential building in Spokane. Paid street parking options available, free post 6pm (Check details as per the signage)
The prices were really high, but I was really hungry so I got the regular gyro.
Only the fries were good.
Compared to other places, the gyro meat was mushy and had a few bone fragments in it and seemed very low quality.
There was a good portion of the meat product in the gyro to be fair, but I would not eat it again.
Another person on the way out said “that was really good” so I don’t know what they had. So if you decide to go there, I would recommend trying anything but the beef gyro. Their other dishes may be good………… but at 20 bucks for just a gyro and fries, I won’t be trying anything else.
We ordered:
Full Side of Basmati Rice
Baba Ghanoush with Pita
Shawarma Meat – Chicken (24 oz)
Shawarma Meat – Lamb (24 oz)
Baklava
The menu lists:
Shawarma Meat – Chicken (24 oz) $14.00
Shawarma Meat – Lamb (24 oz) $16.00
Items ordered online include an upcharge for packaging, I assume. We received all 5 items, but both meat sides were tiny, so small in fact that I felt compelled to weigh them. The lamb weighed in at 9.6 oz and the chicken weighed 11.4 oz. The food was tasty enough, but no where near the portions advertised.
***Just got a call from the restaurant, instead of trying to make it right in any way, they blamed the website, and their inability to update the prices therein. The caller pointed out that after looking at the menu and going into the order page it no longer lists a weight with the item on that online order menu and that we should have intuited that the main menu was incorrect.
I forgot to ask for our servers name. He was so nice, even gave my wife a rice pudding, on the house, because she was gluten-free. We both had the Lamb in wraps. Not gamey at all or spicy.
It is metered parking around the area. We just parked in the parking structure, less hassle, and just walked across to the restaurant.
