I saw the Tomatina Italian restaurant while on my way to the Fountain Head Auditorium to hear this soon to be retired politician talk about how her and her slug husband have manipulated the stock market in their favor because of the insider trading rules that Congress currently enjoy. Well, I was a cool hour and a half ahead of schedule, and I already had plenty of rotten eggs to throw at her, so I figured I’d swing into Tomatina and have some amazing pasta! And…That’s exactly what I did! Let’s just say this…It was Spectacular!

Overall service was extremely bad. Not only our waitress wasn’t up to date with what was available in the menu but also just to get our food it took more than 20 mins.
Kind of ridiculous when you put out into consideration that there were only 3 tables being served and our order was just meatballs and soup. Last surprise was to receive the meatballs first and the soup last, almost cold… ♂️

Visited Tomatino and overall had a mixed experience. The prices are quite reasonable for the area, and the food was genuinely tasty — especially the seafood pasta with a rich and flavorful sauce. However, there were a few service details that left me disappointed.
The menu listed calamari as part of the pasta dish, but it was missing and no one informed us about the change. Although we still paid full price, there was no mention or apology discount . Additionally, basic things like a side plate for seafood shells or proper napkins on the table were lacking — we had to request extra napkins, and even then, they were insufficient.
We also ordered pizza, which had a good dough, although the toppings weren’t quite to our taste — but that’s subjective. On a positive note, we really appreciated the kid-friendly presentation of the lemonade with a spill-proof lid — a thoughtful touch that made a difference and pencils for drawing.
Overall, there’s potential here, but attention to service details would elevate the dining experience significantly.

Food was alright. Service was too slow. Server was nice but he was too busy to remember what we asked. Took too long to order food. We were there on a Friday night around 4:45pm. People started coming in when we about to leave.

This place is past it’s prime. The evening I visited the staff was understaffed and could not keep up with customers needs. At one point, I had 3 different people covering my table which made it difficult to know who to flag down if I needed anything for the check.
I get it that when one is understaffed it’s all you can do to take care of business but some restaurants know how to manage and make it seamless. This place could not

Food had no flavor at all. Ordered creamy pesto pasta, had absolutely no flavor. The “sauce” was like pesto WATER. It wasn’t even sticking to the noodles, chicken was also very plain and tasted like nothing. Had to force myself to eat it and tried to like it but it was so bad. Also calzone was so dry and had no flavor and looked like a burnt bread on the outside. Sauce tasted so bad as well. Also got sat uncomfortably close to other customers when there was other seats available, so awkward.

First time at this place. Started off with the Prosciutto and Salami Stromboli which tasted fresh and delicious. Then we ordered the Pasta Trio which came with Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, Lasagna, and Basil Pesto Alfredo Rigatoni which tasted like it was straight from Italy. Would easily drive here from wherever I am as this place is top tier and the foods taste elite. We were seated outside quickly and the customer service was A1. The ambiance feels very authentic Italian and the vibe is peaceful
