We recently passed through Richmond, Michigan in our motorhome, and what a pleasant surprise this small town turned out to be. Richmond has that charming small-town feel where everything feels welcoming and relaxed. The streets are clean, the shops and restaurants have a friendly vibe, and the people we met were kind and helpful.
It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and appreciate the little things—quiet neighborhoods, local spots to grab a bite, and a calm atmosphere that feels safe and peaceful. Perfect for travelers like us who enjoy discovering hidden gems along the way.

We stopped in on our weekend getaway. Very cozy atmosphere. I love that they do flights. Drinks were good and food was great. I got the tacos very yummy. My husband had the gym shoe sandwich and it was good. We will be back on our next time through.

Last month Lake Time Brewing hosted a surprise birthday party for my husband and I can’t say enough great things about how well it went. From the start, the staff worked with me on tailoring the event to what I was envisioning, and filled in the gaps where I hadn’t thought of things. They worked with me on creating a signature drink for the event, and the chef even made a special family favorite snack! The day of the event they checked in with me, and after learning I wouldn’t be able to come ahead of time to decorate, kindly put up balloons, banners and other decorations to make it even more festive. Above and beyond service! The event space was just the right size for our group of about 70 guests, and everyone from the kids to the adults felt welcomed and had a wonderful time. My husband was blown away, and our friends and family had nothing but good things to say about the event space and food. Now I’m looking for a reason to have another party there because it was planned and handled so well from beginning to end. Thank you so much!

We had my daughters baby shower in the back room. Service was great and they had a nice place to decorate and it was nice and quiet. Id recommend this place to others. My first time there, lady behind the bar was very helpful and courteous

This new brewery has a relaxed atmosphere and a medium length list of house beers. I tried two of their brews, and the Robust Porter was my favorite. It was nice and roasty while being smooth and dry. The staff was friendly, and there seemed to be a fairly friendly crowd of customers making themselves at home. There are multiple options for seating, and I found the sofas near the door quite comfortable. I look forward to seeing how this brewery does, and hope the best for them.

All of the beers that we tried were really good. The seltzer was fantastic. The Reuben was the best that I’ve ever had. We loved everything that we tried and we will definitely be back!

Glad we stopped – watched the MSU game at the bar. Quieter day, being off season in a tourist town. Hubby and I got the Bridgman gym shoe and Rueben – hard to say which was better. The Rueben was piping hot (temp wise), the Bridgman hit the spot and the Apple cider bourbon slushie was a great fall review.
