Toast Whittier has quickly become one of my go-to spots for breakfast! I love the variety on their menu, and their coffee is perfectly strong yet so smooth and flavorful. The Eggs Benedict with salmon is always a delight, the avocado toast with bacon never disappoints, and the French toast with fresh strawberries and chocolate is a true fiesta of flavors.
I also appreciate their relaxed outdoor seating area, perfect for enjoying a peaceful morning meals. Consistently delicious and always satisfying, Toast Whittier remains one of my regular breakfast favorites! … I have to add that they have outstanding service

I have been to Toast plenty of times and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh and cooked well. I had the cali fresh toast with two medium well eggs and a side of arugula salad. I always enjoy their arugula salad… yumm! My daughter had the simple breakfast with the hash fries, they are always so good and crispy. My friend had the strawberry cheesecake toast and she loved it as well.

I recently had breakfast at this charming restaurant and had a great experience. While the indoor seating can feel a bit cramped, they have a lovely outdoor area that’s quite pleasant and makes up for the tight indoor space.
The food was excellent, and I particularly enjoyed the rose latte—it was phenomenal! The service was prompt and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience.
Despite the indoor space being a bit snug, the great food, exceptional drinks, and friendly service make this place a worthwhile visit for breakfast or brunch. Overall, I had a good experience and would definitely recommend it!

The food was good: the lattes were well-made and delish, especially the mexican chocolate and mocha lattes. the breakfast was good, and savory, but pretty pricey though! If we came back, I’d want to try the eggs benedict.

To be honest, we were a little surprised that a Brunch restaurant did not offer any type of Mimosa.. they offer mostly coffees and teas. The food was okay, but not really worth the price.

Trying a new place…

Mike had the Simple Breakfast.

I had the Rajas Con Crema with added avacado.

Mike liked his breakfast. I was not impressed with mine. I had to scrape all the black from my avacado before I could eat it. I know the black was from the peel but it didn’t look appetizing at all the way it was served. I’m very picky. The fruit was pretty on top, but underneath was nasty pieces.

For $49 I hoped for better. I won’t be back. They charged $7 for a side of avacado The waitress should let customers know to add avacado is $7 that’s ridiculous!!

When we walked in it was freezing inside. They had the ac on when it was cool outside.

They could really use some updating on the inside. Everything looks so old. Add some color and decorations to make it nicer inside to go with your pricey menu.

I ordered House Benedict with hash browns. The bacon wasn’t crispy as I personally prefer it that way. And to be honest, I was disappointed with their hash browns. They aren’t real hash browns like we used to get in Denny’s or other brunch places. It was just like deep fried potato slices. Having said that, I liked their Spanish omelette and chocolate mocha. The ambience was pretty good.

Had to give them another opportunity since we have not visited for about 2-3 years. Service is always excellent—friendly and quick staff. I placed our order to go, so I am not giving any points for the ambiance. The place is small and cozy, and the patio area has more room. The eggs, Benedict, we’re ok. The quality of ingredients wasn’t a problem; just the 5 minutes of being in a container didn’t help the crisp factor. I hope that the next Visit, we go we can sit down and enjoy a full experience and bump up the score.

Updated: Place is still a solid choice for Brunch or Lunch. The staff is generally welcoming and attentive. This last visit wifey and I decided ton a late lunch. Place was relatively empty. We were seated promptly and got water, after that it took a bit before our server came back. The food was okay – the Cesar salad dressing was a bit watery for my taste. The chimmy steal toast was good. The chimmy was light in both quantity and bold flavor. Steak was cooked well. The rose latte I recommend stay away and just get a regular latte. It was hard to taste a subtle rose flavor which is the point. The latte was adorned with dried petals, which are edible but don’t infuse much flavor. The Belgian waffle was good, just nothing spectacular. Definitely will be back, just hope we got there on a bad day.

We visited Toast Whittier while in the area because of all the good reviews . There are so many amazing posts and compliments.

First off, there is only one restroom for the restaurant. Wedrove one hour, and I needed the restroom before sitting down to eat, but someone was occupying it for nearly 15mins after we sat down. I couldn’t wait, so luckily, KFC across the street was open. Be aware that their restrooms are for paying customers only. So I had to buy something to gain access.

My food came about 5 minutes after I left. My hubby ordered the Chimmy Toast and I the House Benedict. My eggs were overcooked, but everything else on it was fine. My hubby’s steak was not bad, except we didn’t see any chimichurri sauce anywhere on the plate. Maybe it was marinated with it, but some sauce would have been great.

My second set of eggs were ok, tasted like vinegar, and looked like it was poached in saran wrap. An ok experience, but nothing I would go out of my way for again.

11.4.22 First time here. Love the food and staff. The restaurant can get crowded during brunch rush on weekends, but worth the wait. Eggs Benedict was great. Coffee Latte was amazing. Pumpkin pancake is the next to try on my next visit. Try this place if you haven’t yet.
