Bistec beef plate was like Chinese food sauce. Thin squares of beef and not stew chunks. Second time disappointing meal from here. What a shame because the atmosphere in location is really good.

I know this place can do better than what I experienced. I will say the service was ok but I could tell that the staff was annoyed they couldn’t sit at the bar to eat once we walked in. Food was horrible. I ordered a tostada salad and the taco shell tasted like cleaning products. The lettuce was brown and the beans tasted old. Vegetables were soaked in oil. Pretty awful and probably won’t come here ever again.

I had a combination fajitas, beef and chicken, to go. I’m from Texas and typically don’t try Mexican food out of the Lone Star State. These fajitas were really good.

Our experience at Mari Chuy’s‘ was a nice one
the staff was really attentive we were seated however right near where they pick up all the food to take it to the tables and it was quite warm because there is warming lights right behind us
I would not recommend sitting next to that wall ..too warm but we chose not to move because we would have been seated outside in the heat.
they have a nice outdoor area though and in hindsight it would’ve been nicer to sit out there
They immediately brought chips to the table with pico. we had to ask for salsa which was fine it was no charge. the salsa was pretty spicy but we liked it
we ordered chicken fajitas that were $19 and we split it and it was enough food for both of us
Had to order small side of sour cream, guac and cheese tho. Normally those come with fajitas so that was disappointing. However There was a small round chip with guac served but that made no sense. Just put the guac on the side plate is my opinion no chip needed!

wanted a casual experience dining out solo on a patio and this was a nice vibe! situated right beside a parking lot, hidden from main street but can access from it. had a mango margarita with fish ceviche and nacho chips starter. stomach was satisfied! i enjoyed my evening outside with food, cocktail and sweet service. everyone’s smiles added to my night, thank you!

When we walked in, we were greeted by “the dishwasher” the proud owner, and the rest of the staff. The staff was attentive, friendly, prompt.. I felt like I was in my grandma’s house, como familia. if you’re visiting Sparks, NV nearby the Nugget hotel, take a walk to Mari Chuy’s enjoy the atmosphere stay for the FOOD, you ain’t be disappointed ☆☆☆☆☆
