The one staff at the front very sweet, though very soft voice could almost not hear her.
Now my personal issue which you don’t need to take this to heart, it isn’t a don’t shop. It’s a SPECIALTY donut shop. You want a fritter, not there, you want plain donuts or donut holes it is not there. They have the fancy over the top boogie donuts. Even their cake donuts are boogie. So expect anything to have 10x more sugar than a normal donut which is already pretty much sugar.
They are pretty though.
I was asked if I wanted any in the assorted dozen to have filling. I agreed. What I didn’t know is they didn’t do the filling. They have syringes with flavors YOU have to then stab into your donuts, and hope it goes deep enough. They have Bavarian, caramel, a raspberry, and what looks to be a purple color but if it’s blueberry there wasn’t a lot of flavor on that one to tell. Honestly with every being so fancy I was half expecting a taro or cream cheese plum flavor. I wasn’t a fan of the syringe method because, I personally found it waste of material and pricing. I can kinda understand if not a lot of people want filling and they do this to prevent making to much of one thing, but again to me it just not in my interest to buy this method a second time.
Their boxes are esthetically pleasing, my only issue was the sides pushed in just a tiny bit to much and ruined those gorgeous decorations on the donuts. Not a big deal, just a forewarning if some get pinched a bit.
Parking was packed for all the nearby businesses making it slightly difficult but not inconvenient to get in.
The glaze they use is more of a frosting, so it was different but still tasted good.
If I was asked to pick up from there for friends, family, or work, I would if it was for individuals who liked more decorative donuts vs traditional.
They do have a small coller/fridge like section and I was very interested in the fact they had flan and sodas in there. Small but very well displayed.
Note: about $36 for assorted for a dozen which is YES AFFORDABLE WHEN YOU SO THE MATH especially for again these kinds of donuts
Bought 3 on Saturday still have this left. As Anton Ego said on Ratatouille I don’t like food I love it and if I don’t love it I don’t swallow
