Let me just say I have a new favorite coffee shop and lunch cafe. I had the pleasure of meeting two of the owners today and they were an absolute joy. They were very friendly and worked hard to make sure I had a wonderful experience. The coffee was fabulous and I bought soup to bring home for lunch and it was amazing-perfect seasoning and flavor. And to top it off, they offer gluten free items, which I very much appreciate. I’m so happy that I found this gem—I will be back.

This is a wonderful spot to have coffee, breakfast and lunch, a cozy space, with friendly people. The coffee is wonderful! My usual coffee is cold brew with an extra shot, himalayan salted caremel, and a bit of cream. This doesn’t sound too hard, but no one else seems to get the flavor right, except for these delightful ladies. This is truely a community spot that makes you feel at home.

Stopped by Colonel Roosters as they opened this am (Saturday) for a Vanilla Latte. The coffee was really good and the owners were really nice and friendly. This is a nice little hidden gem in Pewee Valley. Will be back and support local.

I had such a great experience at this coffee shop. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Their caramel latte and vanilla macchiato is amazing perfectly balanced, smooth, and just the right amount of sweetness.
The ambiance is also wonderful cozy, relaxing, and the kind of place where you can easily spend an afternoon.

This isn’t just a coffee shop; it’s a wonderfully warm and welcoming experience, primarily thanks to the fantastic team and, of course, their spectacular baked goods. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine smiles and an incredibly friendly demeanor. The cashier was patient in answering my questions about the various scone flavors, and the barista took the time to chat about the coffee roast. Every single interaction felt welcoming. This is the cutest little coffee shop right in the heart of Pewee Valley. Small and cozy, very cute inside. She has teas, coffee and boba. Colonel Roosters is truly a gem. It’s run by the sweetest mother–daughter duo who home-make everything, and you can taste the love in every sip and bite. The coffee is top-notch, the scones are to die for, and the whole place has that warm, small-town charm that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into an episode of Gilmore Girls.
