I recently visited A.P. Deli and ordered the Original Big Beef Sandwich Combo, a classic that has always been a favorite of mine. While the flavor of the sandwich was as delicious as I remembered, I couldn’t help but feel disappointed by the quantity of meat provided. For the price charged, the portion size was surprisingly sparse, leaving me far from satisfied—a stark contrast to the hearty portions I recall from previous visits years ago.
The sandwich itself, to its credit, was flavorful and well-prepared, showcasing the signature taste A.P. Deli is known for. However, the value felt lacking, especially given the premium pricing. I found myself questioning whether the cost aligned with what was served.
Additionally, the location I visited could greatly benefit from some much-needed renovations and tender loving care. While the staff was courteous, the atmosphere and upkeep of the establishment detracted from the overall dining experience.
Despite these concerns, I would still recommend A.P. Deli to those who love the iconic taste of their sandwiches. It’s a staple for a reason, and the flavors deliver every time. That said, I sincerely hope the management takes note of the feedback from loyal customers. I’m giving 5 stars because I went on Tues. May 30 and the guy behind the counter was amazing. He was so friendly and attentive. It’s the little things. He offered to let me pick my slice of caramel cake. Overall staff was friendly. Corn beef is very good. Next time I will get easy mustard or no mustard at all. This place is cash only. Oh and the caramel cake is delicious not sure who made it but we will definitely be back. I forgot to take a pic of the cake.

The corn beef taste is not the same the meat was cut to thin the rye bread isn’t the real rye bread at all the bread doesn’t even taste like rye bread smh & over priced for something doesn’t taste good!. They never have Italian beef available. I don’t understand why you have it on the menu if you’re constantly out of it. This location is always out of something and it’s ridiculous. If you wanna go there for a corned beef/hoagie you’re in luck, but literally anything else on the menu they’re “out” of.

Terrible!!! I use to always come here for a good cornbeef and it’s not the same. For the price of the sandwich there is no way I should receive a sandwich full of fat. $40 for 2 sandwiches and we couldn’t even eat it like a regular sandwich due to all the fat. Last time!!
