AJ was the BEST server I’ve come across in years! He was very kind and such a professional young man. I wish him many blessings. He greeted us with a smile, talked about his dog , told us the best sellers, took our picture, made sure we had everything we needed and offered dessert! Then wished us well! I can’t even explain this kindness, it’s unmatched. The other workers were very kind as well! Way to go to the owner!

Wonderful service and DELICIOUS food! I went through the drive thru earlier this evening, and may I say great AND polite service, which is a lot these days considering all these rude employees at other restaurants i’ve been to. I had the opportunity to meet KB and may I say, what a great and polite young man! He took my order with manners and referring to me as sir, which is a very NICE trait to have! Also quick to give me my food! With that said, most times at fast food it’s often poor quality, but it was quick AND yum! This establishment has great food and great employees! I’ll be sure to come back again!

Absolutely incredible experience!! My mom and I dined here doing lunch hour and the food was so delicious. The customer service at this location is outstanding! The employees genuinely appreciate your presence and check in to make sure you are satisfied with your food. I can’t say enough good things about my experience, i will definitely return soon.

MY OH.MY!!!! there is NO DOUBT why Mr Scott received a James beard award chose the onion rings to start with..great breading and flavor. Had the southern style pulled pork, sweet,tangy and moist with a hint of smoke. Mac n cheese was terrific creamy and delicious also the.beans were great as was the cole slaw.. last meat was the turkey, slight smoke,moist and delicious!!!! Cornbread comes with every meal this stuff is AMAZING….so much so we went to target and they sell a box mix which we scooped up…..definitely a great choice, service was top notch and we will absolutely come again…..

We had the ribs. With 5 sauces to choose from, you’ll find one you like. The staff was friendly and the service was excellent. We didn’t like the cole slaw (personal preference.) With a smile, they gave us something else. The onion rings were piping hot and delicious! Forgot to take pix. We were too hungry.

Friendly service; they even offered me a free side sample to taste. Nice, clean restaurant with good music. The greens were really good & the potatoe salad was good too. Loved the cornbread, fluffy & sweet like cake. The brisket was good, but had too much fat & the pork shoulder was not as tender as I would have liked, but it was good with the sauce. The turkey was the best. I tried most of the sauces, all were thin and spicy, most included too much hot sauce for me. Didn’t like the Rodney sauce. Although the sides were good, I gave this restaurant 3 stars because the star of the show, the BBQ and sauces weren’t the best to me.

I’m a regular customer at Rodney Scotts BBQ in Trussville. They have the friendliest staff and the best food. I love their smoked wings and turkey. Don’t let me forget their collard greens. It’s amazing! Anna Claire ALWAYS greets me with a welcoming smile and makes sure I’m happy with my order. I LOVE this place! I got my coworkers hooked on their food too.

Not only was he attentive and friendly, but his knowledge of the menu was impressive! He guided us through their best offerings, and his recommendations were spot on.
Kariba’s service was top-notch—he checked in just the right amount, making sure we had everything we needed without interrupting our meal. And he did it all with a smile that truly made the experience special. The food, of course, was outstanding, but Kariba’s impeccable service elevated the whole dining experience to another level. If you’re lucky enough to have him as your server, you’re in for a treat!

This was my first time visiting this place, and I will say I was definitely impressed! The customer service staff was amazing: Reagan, Jeremiah, and everyone was phenomenal. The food was the bomb.com..
Even the decor, the atmosphere, the music meant everything after a long day. Rodney Scott thank you for giving us options to choose in Birmingham. There was no sad faces in the place. Customer service is what brings the guest back. We were asked frequently if we needed anything. I was so amazed. We will be back for sure. Thanks again for the experience!!
