Nice small place owned by a couple. The owners are really sweet.
I had the lemon grass chicken vermicelli. Based upon other reviews, I had high expectations, but I have certainly had better vermicelli bowls at a few other places in the USA. I intend to go back and try the bahn mi due to praise for it in other reviews, and will update my own accordingly.
The owners are really nice, but after asking for more water, they seems to forget as I never received any more. Therefore, I can’t give this place 5 stars.

Wow…we loved our meals. We stopped here by quickly on our way from Waikiki to the airport, and easily found street parking. The vermicelli bowls with lemongrass chicken & tofu (and a banh mi with pork + chicken) were so fresh, so filling, and really high quality. Delicious Vietnamese iced coffee. The service was kind, as well. Highly recommend for a relaxed & high quality meal!!

We went at about 3:30 on a Monday afternoon and appreciate the customer service. The portions were generous, and prices are fair considering the location. The food came quickly and checkout was a breeze.

We love this place! The owners are so warm and friendly, the food is amazing, and it’s always so calming in the restaurant. We really like the options they have for the pho protein 🙂 Their rice dishes are great too!

There are two Vietnamese places within a few hundred feet of each other on this street. I like both.
This one is the pho and bahn mi Southern California style one. Hey look, my phone doesn’t understand the diacritic marks used in Vietnamese.
I don’t like pho. I am sure it is great.
I do like bahn mi and spring rolls. I like both. The spring rolls are shorter and fatter than I am used to. They taste right.
Their bahn mi game is on point. I will give you a hint: bread makes bahn mi. Crunchy crust, soft center? If not, leave. They bread is right in the sweet spot here.
Get lemon grass chicken bahn mi if you are tired of pork.
The painting and the wall art are really interesting. If the owner has a sec, ask her about them.
You know you want it. Get a Vietnamese iced coffee.

Solid spot for when you’re craving a bánh mì and want something quick, fresh, and consistent. Bread’s got a nice crisp bite, fillings are flavorful without being over the top, and portion sizes hit the spot. Great in a pinch if you’re nearby — pho smells amazing too, so that’s next on my list.

Honestly I regret coming here to try this place out. I walked in and didn’t feel welcomed there. Staff didn’t smile and didn’t seem interested in me being there. I got a steak and meatball large pho and while the food did come out fast, the amount of meat in the pho was a disappointment. Not once did the staff come by to ask me if I need anything like water. One customer was sleeping and snoring and the staff completely ignored it. No music was on at all, only a faint Vietnamese radio you could kinda hear from the kitchen. I even left a tip when I paid before eating and said thank you when I was brought my food. No acknowledgement, no “your welcome”, just them ignoring me. Not even sure how this place has high star rating. I’d recommend going someplace else

Nui Baguette stole my heart this is a must try spot!
Food: Amazing Pork Banh mi, perfectly toasted fresh bread, delicious pork, spicy jalapenos, and tasty extras packed in.
The people here are super friendly and accommodating, little ma and pop shop vibes
Restaurant is spacious with ample seating, clean tables and inviting atmosphere. Add this to your must try list.
