For an authentic experience without having to learn a new language, Gia Lai is the perfect experience. The menu was complete yet easy to navigate, the pricing reasonable, and the staff has consistently been on-par with their recommendations. I travel for business in the food industry, and make it a point to stop at Gia Lai anytime I find myself in or near Cleveland. It’s quickly become a favorite. It’s been worth a detour on a number of occasions.
Try the pho, and let yourself outside of a normal comfort zone – you’ll be pleasantly surprised. For dessert, don’t leave without trying the flan – it’s hands-down the best ever.

I have mixed feelings for Gia Lai. Upon suggesting to my boyfriend that we should dine there, I was fully expecting a traditional Vietnamese establishment. Gia Lai doesn’t exactly live up to that standard. The interior is Americanized to the max and the food didn’t taste all that authentic either.
I really did appreciate our dessert of cream cheese filled strawberries and their hot and sour soup is quite tasty. However, my entree was sub-par and left me less than satiated for a good dinner. All in all, it was an average, unimpressionable experience, which left me slightly disappointed.

This pho isnt the best in Cleveland, but it is probably one of the better ones in the eastern suburbs of Cleveland. I like the pho broth of some other places better but overall the appetizers are great and the pho is pretty good. The best thing about this place is the service; they servers are attentive and their drinks are great. I would recommend.

I thought this was a pretty nice place in Legacy Village. I ordered the Flank Steak Pho and really liked it. Not the best Pho I’ve ever had, but still very good. The place was surprisingly pretty empty at normal dinner time (~7pm), but the prices were reasonable and the service was good.

DONT GO HERE. I give 1 star, not for their food, but for their treatment of mothers with baby who find it time to feed. The restaurant staff chose to make a scene rather than help descreetly.
