Independent owners – Daniel and Brooke Smith – opened the new Ippolito’s – Alpharetta in April of 2019 where we wanted to bring back the delicious food and welcoming atmosphere Ippolito’s offers. We love providing our guests with a casual, family-friendly atmosphere and excellent service, along with healthy portions of our wonderful food. The service was great. Our server Ryann was excellent. She refilled our drinks without us needing to ask and cleared our extra dishes as well. Pizza was served hot and was very delicious. We had no plans to eat dessert until she highly recommended the cheese cake. It was amazing. I look forward to my next meal there.

We absolutely love Ippolito’s Italian Restaurant! The food is always delicious and consistently hits the spot every time we visit. And Kendall is by far our favorite server — he’s such a happy, attentive person who truly goes above and beyond to make sure our visits are always top notch. I was near roswell (my old stomping grounds, 20 years ago) so we decided to go to ippolittos for some great Italian food and their awsome garlic rolls. Well it was a very nice and tasty meal. The service was awesome. Upon leaving we ordered some of the world famous garlic rolls to go(because no other place can top ippolittos rolls). Took them back to our hotel room and put them in the fridge. Much to my sorrow when we left the next morning we forgot about our goods in the fridge. Bummer I was looking forward to having garlic rolls when I got home. Ippolittos is about a 4 hour drive from where I live in tennessee, but you can bet I will make a day trip to get me some more!!!!!!!

We had a group of about 30. From the minute that we booked it with Jonathan to the excellent wait staff of Matt and Kendall and the Manager Debra, we were blown away. Our group had a buffet of a several salads, pastas, and entrees with dessert later. The waiters always made sure that our drinks were filled quickly And answered to our every whim. It was so nice as the person paying the bill that I didn’t have to worry about anything. It was taking such a load for me. Because of their excellent service. If I could give them a higher rating than five stars, I would because the service was that good. We had a private room over to the side where they could easily accommodate over 50 people. Thanks, Ippolito’s for making this such a great evening!!!

Posting this review after finding things in my food not once, but twice. I grew up loving Ippolito’s in my hometown and now have ordered it to go as a “splurge” comfort meal when life is stressful. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to do that anymore. The first time I found plastic in my pasta dish (pictured below) was in February of this year. Really grossed me out but I thought of it as a one-off and didn’t post about it. Ordered it again this week and found a strip of something (I think maybe chicken or salmon? Pictured below) in my marinara sauce. I will also add that the lettuce of my salad was brown and wilted. I’m way too icked out to ever order here again. The fact that these two instances were months apart tells me this is a consistent pattern of negligence on behalf of the kitchen manager. Be careful and check through your food before eating if you go here!

So to start we normally order from the Ippolitos on Holcomb Bridge but on accident the order got placed at this location. To be courteous we left the Holcomb Bridge location drove all the way to Hwy 9 to pick this food up to not screw over this location. What a mistake the decision was. We placed a decent size order and unfortunately very very awful. The wedge salad was nothing like the one we usually pick up from the Holcomb Bridge location. It was a rotten head of lettuce then in a box with a small amount of topping shoved into a couple plastic containers. There were a few half rotten tomatoes then in the box. The calamari was a big pile of mush in the box. On the Fra Diavlo the flavor was good but the noodles were extremely mushy and the shrimp was half burnt. The desert was literally thrown into the box and all smashed. To top it off the portions are half the size of what you get at other Ippoltos locations and I’ve been eating at this Franchise for 20+ years. There’s more that was wrong but it’s not even worth going into it. I called and spoke to the manager and she was very polite and apologized and offered for me to drive back for a refund. We live on the other side of John’s Creek and it was not worth it. We ended up throwing most of our order into the trash unfortunately. What a waste of $100 and we left a $20 tip on a pickup order. I will never eat here again nor tell anyone to eat here. I’ve sent photos of this meal to most everyone I know and they were absolutely shocked that a restaurant would even send out food like this. So upsetting and disappointing. Don’t waste you time or money eating here and just go to another spot.

Came here for dinner the other night and it was such a great experience! Food was great and I can honestly speak for the following dishes
– Garlic Bread: Fresh, soft, and perfectly balanced in flavor.
– Chicken Vodka: A must-try dish with tender chicken in a delectable vodka sauce.
– Fried Calamari:Crispy, well seasoned, and generously portioned.
The only minor letdown was the Tiramisu, a bit too sweet for my preference. Overall, this restaurant offers a lovely Italian dining experience. I’d highly recommend this place! They have fabulous service!
