I rushed there tonight knowing they closed at 10pm. I got there at 9:48, thrilled to still have time to pick up my conchas (a quick thing -in and out). The door is locked. i see five people inside – some cleaning / organizing and one on the cash register. I knock – it’s not 10 yet. No one looks my way. They are just a few feet from me, but they don’t acknowledge me. I continue knocking – one girl looks at the girl on the register and says something – guess she was the manager because she shook her head, no, but still just looking at the register.
At this point I suppose I just want a little “sorry, we’re closed”, but no. I find this so disrespectful. And what is this refusal to make eye contact?
So, listen, Tierra Caliente, please do not post that you close at 10 if you are going to close whenever you feel like it, then ignore the customers who arrive before your closing time.
Don’t think I would have posted this review if I hadn’t gone through an insane enormous effort to get there before closing time. I mean, I hussled!!! Then to be, aside from not let in, ignored.

So disappointed ordered my son’s 1st birthday cake and you would think they will care how that is an important event, I showed them the Pic and even the girl took all the info I leave thinking they will do my cake as I told them only to find out when I picked it up the day of my event that they only did a design to the front of the cake no number one stars I was so confused like is this really my cake so I told them this is not what I asked like my event starts soon and here I have to wait another 15 min for yall to correct it so had to leave come back and still didnt do it correctly. After they mest up I still had to pay the full amount like not my fault but that’s lesson learned never ordering a cake from them.

I ordered my wedding cake from here and let me just say not only did it exceed my expectations visually, since it was so elegant and tasted MAGNIFICENT. We had two different flavors. It was inexpensive as well, I couldn’t believe the price for this big of a cake and the quality. And their customer service was also 10/10!

I came out of town and came around this area and found this amazing bakery! Never have I visited a bakery in my life with so many different varieties of bread! I fell in love! My sweet tooth was so weak and my mind was spinning with the indecisiveness of what to get! The classic conchas are always a hit. They have any Mexican pastry you can think of, they even do custom cakes. They had capirotada bread, which I didn’t think was a thing, but it tasted like heaven. If youre around the area please give them a visit, you won’t regret it!

I liked the selection they have. From cakes to pastries and even puddings. I even tried a pastry with rice pudding in it! It was a little weird, but delicious!

My 1st time visiting this bakery & I have to say very impressive! So many different choices. I don’t understand Spanish but the team was so very helpful in explaining the different flavors. My family will definitely be back to visit!!
